    Peaceful Coexistence

What kind of work would you do on a peaceful coexistence earth?

Since there would be no longer a money slavery system...

My opinions on the monetary system aside, I think there'd be a lot of Jack-of-all-trades types of people doing just what needed to be done around the community. There might be some specialists with their own niche but I doubt they'll be as needed as the other group. Eventually they'll be phased out because of that, thus reducing the overall quality of services people would receive.

Of course it's all speculation on my part.

I don't know. And I really mean that. I'd be torn between so many possibilities. That and I have no skills that are of use to anyone else. My helping always "gets in the way" as other people say to me. I really don't know what I'd do. Maybe live alone and try to learn some solitary survival. In a free world nobody would call the cops on me if I did that.

syre what can we do, i mean a croc in the nile has not a clue about the high flying lifestyle of his cousin in the ever glades,, or florida,, he would crack ha ha but as he does not know he,s fine but never gets any higher,, thats why we evolve,, through the awkward stuff,, animals just do the same thing over and over,, we would crack,, to bring it right down look at the way we do up our homes,, why not keep it the same,, we love change, ya dont see a bird with a two bed laughing at all the other birds saying,, " look tom at them we have the condo,, they just have a basic nest,," we in my view need to see the other side,, to experience futher on the happier side,,,

how humble are people in Ireland three years ago weould not pick stones out of fields as they were beyond it,, leaving it to the foreigners, and these days the Irish pick stones, as they are not so tall any more (assholes), i can call then thgat as there my own yee cant ha ha,, but my point is once they done it then they were to big and now they do it again,, and are glad as there is no work,, so they needed to see the bad times to fecking wake up. and realise that they are assholes looking down at other people,, i love god in this way as she can make the mightiest assholes really humble again,,in short good and bad,, dark and light, any way ya like to see it,,

Huh... is it a bad thing to admit to not having useful skills? (and I can only think of one to add to the "non-useful" skills list... I can't think of another)

But I was thinking like, if such a peaceful coexistence were to come about, learning would be a different system too (the current school system is a joke and incredibly non-peaceful) so it might be easier to gain a skill. I'd like to know how to cook, but I hate being in the kitchen. Outdoor cooking FTW!

Or gardening! I want to plant crops and harvest and eat and share them! That's one thing I'd definitely do. In a peaceful world, we'd all have a bit of land to grow stuff on, instead of it being controlled by a few in this more militant world. Oh, to have a garden, even just a little one, that would be lovely.

I have wondered about this before, what would I do, what skills do I have...I too don't feel like I have many skills...what am I good at...

massage...not gone to classes or anything...but people appreciate the massages I give them (and I enjoy giving them)

ummm....*thinks*....*thinks some more*...I'm good with cats...don't think that will come in so handy though...at least not often...

I'm ok/quite good (not very good), at vegetarian cooking...

I know a little bit on nutrition and dance/exercise (could improve on all of these things in my life...).

Just for the record, I can't actually cook anything edible yet, so I wouldn't call that a skill. And I have 0 gardening experience or knowledge, so that's not really a skill either. I realise I must have sounded negative and "putting myself down" but that wasn't really what I meant to put across, I was just being honest. I know I can learn, once certain things are out of the way, like exams, so it doesn't worry me. I hoped university would teach us new skills, but so far we have only had theory and knowledge taught to us - not skills.

Well, if I REALLY had to come up with one more skill... um... I can climb small trees? I guess that would be useful to retrieve fruit before it falls and gets bruised. But then that's what ladders are for.

Sorry for diverging off the topic. But yeah, retrieving fruits safely with your hands, without worrying about pesticides. As peaceful coexistence doesn't have to stop with humans, but can apply to all of nature.
