    i was born in 1973 12/12 in 73

there are some who say the "indigos" werent incarnating till the early 80's but i dont think that true. i think there were indigos for the last hundred years or so(or even longer?), but not very many until the mid sixties....and then more and more as the years went by. my opinion of course, and one about which i am not even sure of, but still thats my opinion- best guess.
but i should also say that i seem to have a different idea about indigos than most of what i have been reading. or at least much of what i have more recently read. i dont think indigos are all alike or even should be all that similar.

'70. i'll describe myself as an 'indigo uncle' given that i've heard the definition of indigos to pertain to birthdates between 1980 and 1996. i've used the term 'hominid evolutionary catalyst' to describe myself for about a decade. someone here.. not to lead.. more to.. ..take some of the fire on the wavefront and reduce the cultural rejection quotient.. like an indigo vaccination for society publicly attesting to this or that faculty or perception denied by convention.

i really dont think its true that the indigos started being born in the 1980s. i think that there had been a rare indigo in the genral population for like hundreds if not thousands of years...then in the 60 s it started being common. when i first heard the term i thought they were referring to our generation, and those i had met who were born in the late 60's who had certain....*qualities* which would be hard to define...and of course the *gifts*. i think that MOST people under the age of fifty are indigo, until we get to the youngest generation which are more of an indigo/crystal mix. and i think that a lot of indigos have no idea that they are and it doesnt matter really.they do what they do and thats all enough.
thinking youre an indigo and being an indigo are different things for sure. but most people who think they are are...i mean more- that many of the indigos dont know that they are...or maybe deep deep down...they know some of it...but they dont neccessarily really explore it or talk about it.
i also think there are millions and millions millions of indigos, not a small group of rare individuals. most artists musicians science genuises and the many people who work on computers... i think most everyone in those fields is an indigo, regardless of being recognized or even having the *gifts* developed. and soon it will be...well i think when we and the generation behind us come into our places, come into our own, say...it will not be unusual the things we talk about or explore...these things are suddenly becoming mainstream. or maybe i just get spoiled living on the west coast and around people who are doing the work, and making beautiful new things happen...so i am maybe feeling like this is all becoming more common...
    ?

i've always been drawn to indigo, the color, love that color. used to always go thru indigo paint more often than any other color ...all of my paintings have lots lots of blues of all kinds, and deep purple, and especially indigo.even used more indigo than white or black....so was always having to restock on indigo and white when i went to the art supply store, i couldnt paint without it!
indigo , purple and blue one of those has always been my favorite color...indigo mostly tho...well all shades of deep dark blue. and thats what i wear most constantly, thats about my whole wardrobe throw in lots of black and all shades of grey.
also well i am clairavoyant....i have visions...of things that are happening, have already happened, and especially freaky the things that havent happened yet. maybe i have an over active third eye...perhaps..or maybe just the right amount of active idk. ???

well anywho thats my two cents

idk as "i don't see auras" i'm unqualified to determine or define indigoness. certainly the modern generation doesn't have exclusivity on esp et c., there are countless examples of individuals who increased and inspired ability and awareness in others.

i don't keep up with popular opinion as well as i'd like to. one moment it appears as if the entire u.s. is ready to reinstate the constitution or to accept indigos or admit extraterrestrial contact, the next i'm interacting with some myopic (my word of the day,) reserved subculture (the outspoken among music software developers.. who are always outspoken for particular reasons. in the '00s, perhaps forward thinking people were encouraged to be silent).

i'd like to think that there is a trend. some advancement and development of appreciation. if only because the "establishment" has become more staggeringly boring than boorish in their denial.

xoxos, i totally agree with you. i'm more towards electronic music myself (i own my own digital label). i always felt i knew what i wanted to do, but didn't know how or when. our lives as ingidos are very fascinating.

i was born in 1972 and i too at first thaught that the indigos were born around the late 70s early 80s , but after googleing indigo children and adults there were alot of very informative sites explaining that the indigos have infact been around since the 40s and 50s. doreen virtue has a site that explains all the idigo types to those of you who are interested. after reading a few of the sites, i found i was actually an indigo elder, as i have more than one ability. but i also think we are all going into the transformation stage of the higher relms which is exciting. does anyone else here feel that there is so much more to what they can be, but just dont know how to achieve it?
    Love and light..

i use a "technique" wherein i am very careful about how i use language.. i am sure to never define anything too.. erm, definately.. even casually.. in order that i develop with more fluid, becoming states of existence. even "i'm from (whatever location)" or "i like coffee."

(humorously.. it's amusing how expressive one can be without being too definate.. advertisers do it all the time, why shouldn't i as well in describing my own state of being and becoming?)

and so.. by being less certain of what is, one creates a possible avenue by which things can become.. more turning off a preventor than turning on a potentiator. similar to quote "only when you forget you are human will you remember you are (a) god"
