I think there's a bunch of threads like this however I've found that site and wanted to share.
A good thing is that symptoms of awakening and symptoms of ascension are distinguished, because sometimes people confuse these 2 things.

They're basically describing (severe) depression. I think it might be a bit dangerous to start calling feelings like that 'ascension symptoms' or whatever.

Hard to disagree with that, Sephish. But I'd say it depends on a person in question and hmm... circumstances. I wouldn't be surprised if someone, due to 'awakening' got a bit depressed because of how much suffer is in this world.Originally Posted by Sephish

i dont know, i feel like i am so disconnected, the world seems more and more unreal with each day. and i never sleep before 3 am i am experiencing weird pressure in my head and headaches, and my feelings are not in my way anymore and havent been for a few years, i feel like im going insane sometimes because of lack of reality, when i go to sleep after 5 everything in my head is louder, my thoughts, sounds, and all, i dont like it so i always try to sleep before 5
so am i moving to an higher vibration or am i just depressed lol?

hmmm....maybe depression is a natural part of the process? you are grieving the loss of a life and world you once knew and are instead accepting a new one. i think there is HUGE loss there. i personally had been suffering from depression for years before my ascension started.
And all that stands between the soul's release......this temporary flesh and bone.....

I'm not a part of the ascension cult (no offense intended), but I think I can safely add some of my own ideas regarding such stuff. The depression is a direct result of the break down of psychological structures which were the foundation for certain patterns of thought and beliefs. Without these structures to fall back on we lose our sense of normalcy and can experience mild to severe psychotic episodes depending on our mental fortitude until we realign with something more appropriate to our new level of understanding.
It's all in your mind and thus your relationship to those certain changing beliefs can have dramatic effects on all aspects of your life. We experience this everyday only it never seems to last until one day it does, and is permanent, which we then seek to name it. The whole thing is just a cloud of mental energy without any foundation in reality other than what it is. The Idea, in my opinion, is to transcend that mind by stopping to identify with it's objects and finally become free of it's constant motion. serious identity crisis.
As is Said in the Heart of Wisdom Sutra:
It's amazingly profound.So, in emptiness, there is no body,
no feeling, no thought,
no will, no consciousness.
There are no eyes, no ears,
no nose, no tongue,
no body, no mind.
There is no seeing, no hearing,
no smelling, no tasting,

Think about it. Whats the final goal? It's freedom. It's always been about freedom and the seeking is all for the attainment of that perfect freedom. Freedom from what, then? What can bind us everywhere we go if not ourselves? Nothing.
