My son knows things and says things...

This ad goes away when you register.
My 3 yr. old (4 the end of this month) has always astounded us on occasion, by saying things that are out of the ordinary and things that he 'shouldn't know'.
Just to name a few instances...

When he was 2, my husband and I were out shopping...when we came back home, my mom (who was watching him) said that the weirdest thing had happened, my son had been in the living room and had jumped up and said "Oh, mommy daddy home". Sure enough, we had just pulled in the driveway. Now yeah, this could be looked upon as a normal thing, except the apt we were in was set up so that we had to drive way up back behind and park... there was no way he could've seen or heard the car pulling in. It's like he just knew.

My father in law passed away last month, and the day of the memorial service, I told him we were going to a special service for grandpa. (My father in law and my son were very close). When we got to the church, my son says "We're all going to go talk about grandpa now." Again, seems normal enough, except my son has no concept of what a memorial service is, heck before my FIL's passing, had no real concept of death. I spent some time asking around to see if anyone had told my son about us 'talking about grandpa...' no one had.

On the same subject, just a few days ago, we were all just waking up in the morning, and my son casually mentions that he talked to grandpa and grandpa told him "Good morning! Wake up, wake up!" It was cute and comical, but odd because I could almost hear my FIL saying it.

My husband is in the army and currently deployed to Iraq. We have not talked to my son about "Iraq" all we have ever told him, is that daddy is far far away and will be for a long while. Well somehow Gabe has learned that daddy is in 'Iraq'. I don't know how this is possible.. I don't watch the news, and he doesn't attend daycare or preschool were other people would tell him. I have no idea how he knows of 'Iraq'. The other day he walked up to me and said "Daddy in Iraq.." but as always, when I asked him how he knew that, he changed the subject. Then the other day again, he said "Mommy, I want to go see Daddy in Iraq.. I want to go Iraq".

Things like this just boggle me. I guess I shouldn't be too surprised though, and I've had my fair share of occurrences myself.
I read that indigo children don't like sleeping by themselves, and my son will not sleep in his own room, if I put him in his own bed he has to have someone in there with him until he falls asleep, and he always wakes back up a few hours later and goes to sleep in my mom's room (my mom lives with me). He says that his room is 'too dark and scary' even though I have a nightlight and an aquarium light in there.

I also did a little test with him yesterday, just seeing if my theories were correct. I took a deck of regular playing cards and shuffled them up. I did the "pick red or black" ...kind of a psychic test (my husband and I used to play at it all the time). I was stunned to find that out of the entire deck, my son only got 4 or 5 wrong, and that was when he got distracted by his sister or whatever else he wanted to focus on.
I also laid cards out and had him find the 'heart' or the 'diamond'. He got 4 out of 4 right. When I told my husband later about it, he was amazed.. I nearly wouldn't believe it myself if I hadn't been there, but my mom saw it too.

Sorry this is so long, but I'm just excited to be looking at a whole new world of understanding about my son and myself as well.

It sounds like you have a very special son

My daughter (now 16) is the same way. When she was very small her father was deployed during Desert Storm/Shield. My husband and I had set times during when we would call, but one night around 3 a.m. my daughter crawled into my bed and announced "Mummy, Daddy's calling now" and promptly went back to sleep. Not more than a minute later the phone rang and sure enough, it was my husband.

She's done this sort of thing all her life - still does, and annoys her friends to no end because she preempts them, sometimes answering questions they are ABOUT to ask her. She always announces who it is that is calling when the phone rings AND SHE'S ALWAYS RIGHT. She woke me up in the middle of the night about a month ago and said that her grandmother was in pain, I called my mother, and sure enough, she was having chest pain - an ambulance and quick service saved her life.

Treasure your son! Encourage his talent, it certainly makes life interesting

this is perfectly normal-- Its funny most people thinks this just classifies them or there children but well its really happened to everyone, when we are younger this all happens to us its when were most receptive, and if we choose to close that reception off than well it doesnt follow a normal pattern- My entire a big whoppin 16 years, ive had the abiltiy to hear for mi around me i can see extremley well, and smell extremley well, a good comparison: Eyes of an eagle, ears of a wolf, and nose of a bear - - As my grandpa would say but that isnt all, my bones will never break, im hardly ever sick, and im a bit of a daredevil u could say grins* but through life ive learned what people can do is what all of us can do, our parents just dismissed it when we are younger- 2 weekends ago my cousin died in a fire he lived in arkansas i learned of this the night before it happened because i saw it and i tried to tell my parents- - They completley ignored me, now my cousin is dead and my unlce has extremey bad burns- Now that i told my parenst they are conivinced that im evil or possessed as they would say-My dad went as far to say satan n the name of jesus u are not welcome here- I was like dad there is nothing wrong with me but well my uncle went in to try to resscue Christopher- they lived in a double wide and well couldnt really afford much else- me and my cousin were pretty close when we were younger so well yeah- The point is dont supress anything if he starts to lerarn more and more i would encourage it- Not discourage- ZZ

    Hi

    Thanks for writting

All your stories are quite normal to me, i had and stilll have this kind of vision.

Had it while i was a child, but my parents put it away becouse were scarry.I did accept that, but for a while, later i did open it up again, i didnt wanted to botte rmy parents. silly idea dont you think? i felt sad i could not live myself as i am.

Just the card games are not that interesting to me i guess

There are many skills related to indigo , those ones you did list shows a high natural awareness and also access to informatio patterns in your wn collective family-mind. very easy i think. that your children communicates with the whole family in one dimention you dont perceive at all.

i will rather recommend you to do some meditation and develop similar skill, i am very sure you and your partner, will eb abel to develop thos skills easily too, and communicate with your child that way also, you will have fun all togheher.

your son might help you to remmber skills you already have too!

Yes, I'm hoping to help and support him in however he is, and to help myself reconnect with my own abilities as well. I haven't really worked on it in a long while... kinda put it all on a back shelf.

I can not wait to have children and be able to foster this kind of thing from a young age so they don't lose the skills like so many of us have.

Constant flux. A stable aura is boring. Why do I have to settle?
That is wonderful. Believe me, it is a blessing to both of you. You may think that he is a blessing to you: allowing you to grow and experience his abilities and love, but you are really a blessing to him. The best thing you can do is love and encourage him, which you have! (He is just as happy, if not happier, to have someone who allows him to be him. I felt the same way about my own mother.)

Be careful to not get to pushy with his abilities, although I doubt he'll let you.

Yeah what the funny thing was my parents dismissed my abilties when i was younger they told they didnt exist- That i was very "imaginitive" The truth is if i had praticed them all those years i think i would probably have a little bit more control over them-- - - Im one of those people with the big abilties like well a good comparison would be storm in x-men how she can control the climater around her- Fog and that sorta thing im only good at lightning and well rainstroms but im still learning- i getting pretty good- i No longer need a strom to create lighting its pretty awesome- CJ

    LOL It's true.
Although, my mom keeps saying that my children are like their aunt (my sister.. she was more the challenge growing up than me). I said "Oh great, not only did I have to grow up with her, now I have to raise her too?!"

It seems normal to me too!

That is exactly the way I was growing up...
You have crystal children definitely, I know by there eyes, my son has the same eyes.

We are in the age of Aquarius and the quicker we can help the planet raise it's vibration the quicker we can evolve into a peaceful race! and experience heaven on earth. Meditate on the indigo color...it has a nice hum to it, it resonates with your 3rd eye. And let your children teach and heal you...that is what they are here for!

those pictures are just TOO CUTE!! I know this is about your son, but I see a light in your daughter, as well. Ahh to be pure again. Listen to your children, they often teach you more than you could ever teach them! Such love in their hearts =]

I personally love children, and I have noticed many people here do not want them due to their own selfishness. Though this is not always the case, I sense it in some. Because when you have children you must become selfless (to an extent) and many do not want someone else being center of attention. If my children are 10 times worse, they will also be 10 times as smart, so who knows what they will teach the world!!

Love & light to you and your family <3

It is true, there is much sacrifice involved in becoming a parent, especially a mother, and especially if you are doing it right!
