Indigo Blog Critique

This is just a critique, mainly on those who "move" the children, rather than the children speaking for themselves. It's the latest addition to my blog:

The blog is a part of a larger network of blogs, belonging to "Integral Institute." If you haven't heard of it, there are links on my blog to it and other interesting places. But anyhow, the point of the blog was to show how alot of people were jumping on the bandwagon here, and so much true, authentic depth that is possible is being diluted in a wave of, well, those who follow ideals rather than experience them truthfully.

I read the post - it was very interesting.

I also remember reading a newspaper article (I think?) about a kid that had been interviewed who said he was an Avatar and could "bend" all four elements. The original reporter had been all impressed and stuff, and the story was published. Only to be shot down by readers who pointed out the kid had merely fantasised about the animated TV-series "Avatar - The Legend of Aang"...

Yes. This is another example of what I mean. We influence our children in greater ways we can imagine, just by letting them watch TV. So, unless every indigo child is being sheltered from the world, I'm going to tend to believe they're picking up on their environment - and that's normal for children. Normal and healthy. Is it healthy for the adults who aren't picking up on this?

I think you're absolutely right, shaman sun. I mean, some parents will even say their child is an Indigo or Crystal because it sounds a lot better and fancier than admitting they have a child with a problem (ADD/ADHD or something in the autism spectrum)... "No, my child doesn't have a disorder, they are Very Special and Highly Evolved Beings of Light". Even though yes, a lot of Indigos are mis-labelled ADD and such, but let's not forget it works the other way around as well, and kids who are dysfunctional don't get the treatment that would help them just because their parents decide that the reason they're difficult is that they're Indigo, even though they're not, just because they're in denial.
