From what i've researched so far only the marketing is currently at issue. However, given the purposes behind the plot, namely the weakening of the populace health wise, i can only think that home growing and using will be scrutinized at some point, as well. Yea, it definitley is disconcerting, sometimes I don't think we can and that maybe going off away from the sickness to achieve some sort of inner peace, self understanding and mastery is a better use of my time. Then I can leave and go play in some other universe, because I don't like the people here, they are mean! *stomps around*
