A soul doesnt need a body to exist, according to the theory...
Soul needs no language to communicate... people says it comunicates trough feelings, telepathy, energy vibrations...
I think the "name" of a soul is its energy signature.
Wich is maybe unique, and i assume that it could change with the time or trough reincarnations and lessons learnt.
Just like we people transform ourselves during life. Our soul is also in ascention, right?
A soul wouldnt need more than its own energy signature or vibration to introduce itself i believe...
After all if you see the idea of "soul names" as a method of classification or for identifying itself let me ask you a question:
If you need to introduce to somebody in a short way that describes you whole identity, classification, energy, thoughts, emotions, experiences, your essence, etc. and everything toghether at the same time... Could you find a term for it?
Thinking about one, that had had many lives How long would it take to pronounce a sequence of sounds that encapsules everyrhing toghether if there is one? :-P
I don t know, maybe my soul name is Mu, ;-) But i believe it does not need a name made with sounds or letters or words to comunicate with another soul.
I think the soul is more like your eyes: it has its unique colors vibrations, energy, and form that give it its identity.
is the essence of what you are, your true self if you want.

Well said Noir. I couldnt agree more.. I think people wonder "souls" names becuz it'd give them a better idea to where their sould originated - came from.To help them understand and identify it.. but since many are still in the process of learnin.. names help identify them. Answers arent that easy.. I name can only identify a certain aspect, but not its entire originality. The originality is what makes it 'unique' and set apart from the name itself.
I think they use the name as a steppin stone. Almost like them askin themself? "Am I in the right direction or do I need to make a change in it to be in the right direction?" Its up to them.. They cannot find all those answers thru someone else. They're already where they need to be. In themself. So the more patient they are with themselves when they're makin decisions, thinkin or expressin how they feel thru emotions. What makes emotions the way they are becuz they're a gateway to the soul. And why emotions speak on so many different levels to get interpreted into thoughts in order to communicate. Adn even to create memories.
To me sould define 'who' we are as a 'whole'. As ONE. Of both light and dark characteristics.Are souls is our signature.
So if they want to find answers bein patient with themself is a must.. and it does take a while to find them. Some sooner then others, of course. It depends on how prepared they are for recievin the information to get the right feelin and understandin from it.
I asked myself the same question. I think we do have a soul-name, like in the old Egyptian myths when gods had a secret true name, if you knew it, you could have the god's powers. That's how I imagine it. I guess in the right moment each of us will remember it.

If the name was so spiritual, why did it require help from a shaman, or any outside force?
Wasn't everyone naturally spiritual ?
Or must spirituality be forced upon, by outer causes, to "occur"? Not sure what's so spiritual about a name.
Spiritual "words" or even names, are supposed to have a unique or special / unknown usefulness. Like saying your name, and recalling all of your lost or hidden memories, restoring your abilities or finding your "path" and so forth.
If anyone else but you, knows it, then your freedom is already lost. That name doesn't belong to you at all, if anyone but you knows it.
...lol thats just what i did to get my name GET OUT OF MY HEAD....no for real names mean nothing just like urself thats all you need.

i think i like you roger....yeah i have many names and when one gets tired the other takes over.....but im confuzzled why go thru all that when you can just follow your insticts....i do everything wrong but it just feels so right. somtimes we complicate life.

Jung the psychoanalyst, tagged these different names of us "archetypes".
He came to the conclusion that we formed all of these different persona's
to cope with different periods of experience in our lives, some from the past,
most from now.
I consider each of mine a spirit persona and we operate as a
cooperative with the present persona as the director. Each
has a spirit name, and often we take turns being me/us
when a special skill is needed to aid us. When we combine
our abilities and experience for recommending an action,
we are the "Instinct".
