Hey Drakke1, I know this isn't probably where you thought this conversation might go, but I have a slightly different take. At the end of the article it asks: "Got a smart gas meter installed in YOUR home yet?" I'm puzzled by the meaning, except it does seem the write is insinuating that everyone should get one. Hmmm...sounds like someone from PG&E wrote this article because PG&E is pushing these not-so-Smart Meters on the public despite the uprising against them. See. http://stopsmartmeters.wordpress.com/. They are not only an invasion of privacy, but they are dangerous to your health - many people I know who are EMF sensitive are getting really sick from them. And, there is at least some evidence that these Smart Meters could have caused this explosion and there is an investigation ensuing. So while "Myth Busters has demonstrated that compressed natural gas does not explode without explosives or added accelerants as such as oxygen" that isn't quite true.
