So, this is what I've been doing for the past 4 years:
I create languages.
; not English cyphers.

My blog/website.
1,700+ words
100+ hieroglyphics
200+ modifier/syntax words
countless poems and stories
2 alphabets
culture
history
laws
planet
religion
lifestyle
arithmetic
solar calendar
rune system
I once had this all so organized, and now I'm too lazy to do it, because that would mean that I'd actually have to do some work ( :P ), and this is supposed to be fun for me.
Many people ask me, "Why have you been creating this? Do you think it's a language from a past life?" I don't know what to think of it, but I know that it is a very real hobby for me, I've put a lot of time into it, and I feel that it is a real language, even though it is fictional. It's not a dead language, as it does evolve, it does grow, etymology does change, it has its own unique roots... it is a fabrication of my soul, that is for sure.

It is a language for me. for others, for us all, which is why I call it 'Anikuwynér," which means, "The Language of you and I." I hope some day to teach it, and bring the joy of learning language out to my friends and those whom I though. Some may say that this language can be borderline cult-ish. It isn't. I am not out making a following, teaching my language, and revving people up to the final finale: drinking the kool-aid. It's none of that nonsense. What this is for me, is a therapeutic hobby. I have my aspirations, but they are not important.
I originally began the language 4-5 years ago to create an online continuity.. a sci-fi world where people could speak a simple language in character and really get into role playing an alien culture/race on an alien planet. Since that simple dream, it exploded into its own world of language. Its own beating heart.
Some also ask if I borrowed from other languages. That is a yes and no. I did create roots, but they were not latin or greek, they were of my own roots. Some to most of my words in my language stem back to main roots which have very specific meanings. Some do not. My language was not inspired by Tolkin or other linguists. It honestly began as a hobby completely aside from any book or sci-fi that I have/had ever seen.
Another question is, "How do you remember all of it?" I don't, truth be told. It is a language that I created, and that I remember only the syntax. All of the words that I have created came from mindless creation. I walked around my room, my home, my town, other places, named and wrote down all of the things in English that I could see, and made words up to them. It may seem easy to 'make up' words, but it truly isn't. It is a hard task and you cannot create the same word twice. If you do, there must be a reason. When making up words, it is not just gibberish. It is something you must think on, imagine the thought, feelings it gives, emotions, memories associated with it, then allow the name of the word to come up from your soul and through your lips the best it can: that is how a word is made up. Most words were actually fabricated because of writing poetry and not having the word available, to be frank.
Anikuwynér (Ah-Knee-Coo-Ween-Nair) is a true introspection of my soul. It is a language made with my emotional content and communication methods in mind. It's a perfect way for me to communicate with myself, nature, the cosmos, magic, akashic records, etc. I don't know if it's an alien language spoken in a past life, but it is an alien language spoken in this life, and that makes me happy.
So, that was a bit about it, a backdrop... I never intended to become famous by creating my own fictional language; it was a benefit to me, my magics, my psychism, my introspection.. I have always longed to write a book one day of all of the tales and historical records of Zanguin, and I've started one, but i've never gotten around to finishing it... maybe some day; it's not time yet.
But enough of that! Let's get right into the stuff that I have on it, the actual, physical appearance of it all:
The runes, they are very accurate and very handy. backside is the blue side which shows tigémue, red side shows mixamue alphabet.
A sample of some writing in Tigémue, the ancient script, which ironically, is used the most and in recent ages; reading, writing, etc.
Tigémue script; sample letters; they are not ABCD order, they are mixed.
