Past Everything - One

I have a question for everyone.

Past all of this, religions, "new age" thoughts and ideas, light and darkness, everything. There is only one truth, and quite simply its unity. Everything in the cosmos cannot affect us as long as we know that truth in the core of our beings. Survival is not an issue, neither is pain, or hate, or love. Things are the way they are because that is exactly as they should be.

It seems like much of the conjecture on these forums over-complicates this. We do not need anything other than ourselves to do anything. We are Christ, God, Buddha, Krishna, all of it, the difficult part is truly having faith in that.

So I guess my question is, why all the complexity? Existence is infinite, can any set of rules other than that truth govern it?

I would say the complexity that has been created because humans have lost touch/knowledge of the unity we really have with each other. So humans have felt the need to create their own world of rules and belief systems so that they feel some kind of control in this 'unknown' world.

Satisfiction has it right

So many don't remember who they are - what they are here for. They feel enough to know that there is something more - something ELSE - but they haven't come to that point of understanding yet.

The variety of topics - the complexity as you called it - is there way of breaking free from the restrictions placed on them by society. It is a first step in the process of awakening.

For many, the enormous simplicity of total unity is too easy. At first glance it also appears to take away individuality - and there are those who would fight tooth and nail to retain the illusion of self.

Thank you for the responses, I can completely understand the loss of sense of self as being disconcerting. But then is that not the direction we are going in? As high as you ascend, you are still One, even the "lowest" of people, completely ignorant of their true nature, are One with all. It is their right by the mere fact that they exist. Even that which is non-existent is One with infinity.

Yes, it is definitely the direction we are traveling in - the problem is, that many are JUST NOT READY FOR IT. They can't come to grips with the way things really are. Perhaps that is what we are here for - to pave the way for a new way of understanding, a new way of BEING.

Anyone else have any ideas? I am not trying to criticize any of this, just genuinely curious.
