Did I see my aura?

Hello everyone!
Yesterday, I tried something new. I'd seen a post on here about how to see your aura, so I tried it. I focused on my forehead (actaully a bit to the left of it) in the mirror and sort-of-concentrated... The first time I didn't see much, except a little flash next to my head. The next time I tried it though, I got some sort of result. There was some vauge spot in the middle of my forehead that was a bit blue-ish or purple... I kept watching and my head had an outline. It started out as a sort of clear light and then grew. The light changed a bit too, there was a thin dark outline of a color that could have been a blue or a purple, right next to my head and then the same clearish (though it could have been a very pale color too) light on the outside of the outline... I think it might have been a sort of lavender, because every time I take one of those online quizzes it says either indgio or lavender...
I've tried the same thing three times since then and gotten similar results. So the big question- was it my aura that I saw? And if it was, what does it mean?

The first time I started seeing my aura was when I was very small. I was lying in bed and my hand was lying on top of the white sheets and I saw a glow coming from my finger tips. I didn't know what it was at the time but, ever after, whenever I had my hand or arm or foot on a white surface I could see the glow. My aura is golden with other colors forming on the outer edges of the gold according to my mood or health or whatever.

I would suggest, though, that if you want to know what your aura is don't try to get it from on-line tests. Find a psychic fair somewhere near you and ask someone there who has the sight. Other than that, I'd pretty much go with what I saw for myself just as you did. I think you saw your aura.

Thank you very much! Unfortunatly I live in the middle of nowhere, so psychic fairs are pretty much non-existant. A friend of my mothers owns some sort of Wicca-ish shop, and she used to know a man who would come in once in a while and read auras but he moved... Arizona I think... So, I'll take your advice and just go with what I saw... Thanks again!

To be honest, there are days I can see it and days I can't.
Even better than a psychic fair, if you happen to know someone who is of similar ability (a bit of a stretch, I know, but just maybe), get them to look. To be entirely blunt...a lot of people try to take advantage of truly curious individuals, so knowing someone personally is always a step up.

Well that explains a lot, because I looked a few days ago and couldn't see a thing!
Hmmm... Similar ability... Let me think... Well, I have a very good friend who is an Indigo Child, perhaps she can help...

Hello Saerwen

My name is Isaac and I am 16, ever since i turned 15 or maybe it was before that I've always noticed a field of extra colors in the air, like moving color energy. When I finally questioned the matter I received the answer that I could see the spiritual realm, or seeing aura. So one day recently I put this to the ultimate test. There is an all white closet in my bathroom where I now go daily because if I stare at any point on the wall and concentrate I begin to see waves flapping and moving all around my body.I too experience some days where my aura isn't as full blown or as visible and I really wonder, ???why???? You actually have to train yourself to fluently see auras but I am knowing that with consistency I am going to see auras fully.
