Are you saying that if I was here over a year ago back when you actually participated as an equal in the discussions then... what? Thats my point, you don't post here at all any more, you lurk behind the scenes policing things you dont like like. An example of the type of thing you police because you don't like is that you get to say that Indigo is a label, if I say, "no, indigo is not a label, moderator is a label" you get to tell me to be quiet.

This is definitely sticking to the topic, because you asked what is "indigo really" and some times the best way to show what something is, is to show what it isn't.

One more thing to add in comment to your off ropic post, is that it is not what you've done that makes you a man, but what you are doing. What you are doing is petty IMO.

If you look for the positive you will find it, the same applies to the negative. Live in the world you want to see exist as opposed to fighting the one you don't.

The thread I started wasn't in response to you at all... although I suppose it was inspired in part by some of the recent negativity at IS, which you're a part of... but it definitely wasn't personal. Taking it that way really is a bit paranoid.

I made a thread out of my infraction. Did you make a thread out of one you gave? Sometimes we search for absolution after making mistakes.

An update: After the warnings, and two moved posts, Blacksheep went back and started posting insults in the original thread. He now has 5 infractions (from more than one mod) which means an automatic 7 day ban.

If all goes well he'll cool off and be back after that.

Is it a good idea for mods to be able to participate in threads.

well as most of us who have been in positions where you need to direct people, it's a difficult job, especially when your rent is on the line.
that's not the case here. no one needs this for their bread and butter. shit , if people are getting bullied or some shit, there are enough strong voices that will intercept anything that's really out of control. or at least channel the conversation down a different road. there are too many people who can't say what they want to, for fear it will get them banned, and those that do are often misunderstood. mods need to step back and let it play out. they can have an opinion but should not moderate anything that they are commenting on. that is just bad form.
