I often get asked if I know, know what? I always say.
There are alot of answers out there, but few questions.
The real question is what should you be asking?
oh yes, same here! maybe not 5 o'clock but in between three and four....i noticed how tired i am during the day, and the tiredness last me until ~8pm or so and then i get this second wind! sometimes i think my spirit does it on purpose, seeking the quiet of the night....cause it feels so good=)

funny though, when i get this energy i always have so many ideas, things i want to do, creatively, around the house, spiritually....and i end up doing none of the above, i enjoy the silence sit back, analyzing what's happening, i think in a way even though it seems i'm not doing anything, i'm taking care of myself, setting my head straight in a way=)

this is absolutely what's going on with me lately *but* i think i can attach it to specific reasons, i don't think it's random =)

I think I would have trouble sleeping if I hadn't trained myself during my university days.
During assignment and exam times, you're mind is always buzzing and there's always more books to study, but you need sleep as well! So I trained myself to go to sleep as soon as my head hit the pillow.
Now, I'm noticing the tendency to want to stay awake all night, but I make myself sleep.

I can sleep whenever I want, but I get up pretty early for last few weeks.
I too am finding it hard to get to sleep and very easy to stay up all night too,
lots of energy buzzing around...
though life is much quieter and calmer when most others are in bed sleeping,
I love the night.
Though staying up late and being a mom is not all that compatible so I do tend to take naps whenever I need to.

Well, having just discovered this site, I don't think I'll be getting much sleep. But I have noticed some strange patterns. About 2 or 3 weeks ago, I was perfectly awake at 3am (I get up around 6.30 am for school). I started reading, and then I fell back asleep. And then this morning, a similar thing happened. I went to bed around 10.30, woke up feeling refreshed at 2.45, got on the internet for an hour, exhausted my intrigue, forced myself to try and go back to sleep, but ended up just lucidly resting until 5.15 or so. At that point I gave up and fixed myself some breakfast.
I've always wanted to live like Thomas Edison. Just cat-napping throughout the day.
ive been waking up at like 3am every night...then not being able to go back to sleep till like 6 or 7....its weird cause i just like SNAP right up...poof im awake.
I'm usually out like a light all night. When I'm asleep, I'm asleep--usually I don't even wake up for cat fights or thunderstorms. I hardly remember my dreams (which, if I do remember, are kind of slow, or odd, or rich in color), either. I wonder if this will happen again tonight.
i feel it's getting worse, even though i'm super tired and exhausted i cannot sleep and i end up staying awake until 3-4am and get up around 8am...someday i'm gonna fall asleep standing, lol, i can see it coming!

i usually try to read before going to bed so my mind can wind down, but I'll think I'm sleepy turn off the light and I just lay there for hours....so much energy going through me. I just bought some new crystals so i thought it was that but now.....interesting....

i heard its call dead time (paranormal state the show) they say it is when the spirits mock the resurection of christ 3 pm.my jacob use to wake up always at that time between 3 and 3:30.
it was suggested to me by a guide in a recent angel-reading that.... 3-5 a.m. is the best time for light-workers (indigo/crystals) to "pull in energy" during meditations ....breathing exercises....or whatever routine works best for you.
given that it is one of our tasks as indigo/crystals to anchor light on the planet..... this made a lot of sense to me.![]()
this sleep pattern has been happening to me for sometime now also..up by 3 even if i go to sleep at 1...so now i just roll with it.......definitely a peaceful time....the world is quite still at these hours.![]()
There have been million page threads about this on here before and i was there not sleeping!
I got back into it tho but wasnt having many dreams.
The last two nights i didnt sleep till sun up, its 6:16am right now.
Like someone else said, i jus lay in bed for a few hours with loads in my head then i jus get up and go downstairs till morning, then i sleep.
Also as the same person said, dreams are pure and clear as waking vision but with intensly accurate recurrence in waking life or with extremely coherent intellectual information at the moment.
Of course this is all probably related to harrp

It's 3:30 AM. Do you know where your Indigo Children are? I'm going to bed now. 3 hours rest, whether sleep or simply "shut-eye," should be good enough for tomorrow.

I was having lotsa problems with my sleep and recently I started taking this immune booster called cats claw - it's helped heaps. I'm getting to bed much earlier. I also started eating more magnesium rich foods (dark greens) plus a supplement (Calcium Magnesium Complex) and working out shit loads at the gym now my sleep patterns are almost normal again. I find the more I work out the earlier I crash. Also having less naps during the day because of these things which I found interesting. For those of you that don't know a Magnesium deficiency can cause insomnia.
