What is Physics, Quantum Physics and Metaphysics

We use scientific terms much in our daily lives. Especially, we use physics and its laws aware or unaware when we are taking actions. To illustrate an example, pool players know the basic things about the force and motion. Simple things as, if we hit the ball from its left, it will go right with a rotating axis. Lets have a more detailed look into physics and its terms we use in daily life.

    Physics

I explained some details about general physics in a previous post, but since this topic will cover more, I find no problem in explaining again.

Physics word comes from the Ancient Greek word "physis" which means nature. It is the study of matter, its motion inside the universe with the concepts of force and energy. It is a science to explore the behavior of our universe.

This ad goes away when you register.

To explain these behaviors, mathematics is used. Mathematics is the language used to describe the laws of our universe, namely the laws of physics. Lets have a look at the ball example again. If we hit the ball from its center, it will go straight. If we hit the ball 1 cm left from x axis, with the y axis unchanged, It will rotate slightly going to right direction ( I am sorry, z axis indeed changes in this example but lets think the ball as two dimentional for a second ). The underlined words are the mathematical languge.

Imagine we had to tell our heights without mathematics. Crazy things come to mind right? Height of 45 apples. No way

The whole physics is to make our lives easier, and to find the answers of our questions. Physics, with the advanced technology, is surely in a whole another level right now. We, as public community know only general concepts of physics and use the gifts of physics as everyday life. The situation is a lot different in a scientist's point of view. What are they doing? Lets have a look..

    Quantum Physics

I am not one of the crazy scientists, nor a physician. Excuse my mistakes in this point, as I will try my best not to give any irrevelant or wrong information.

The word "quantum" comes from the Latin word "quantus," meaning "how much." Quantum in physics however, means the minimum amount of any entity in an interaction. Photon is the basic unit of light in any form ( see my post of physics of light ). So, a photon is a single quantum of light in atomic level.

Quantum physics is the branch of physics in the atomic or subatmoic level. The picture below will describe it briefly.

We use much of the classical mechanics in our daily lives. We do know some of the relativistic mechanics (thanks to Einstein). We are exploring the quantum mechanics. However when we are into the quantum field, there science begins to struggle, and all the crazy things possible are hypothised. The things that are happening, or not happening, can all be explained in quantum field. The spiritual realm, time travel, and almost every supernatural thing we can think of, are now a branch of quantum field, because they are becoming explainable. However still in theories, meaning they haven't been proven yet.

With some on the quantum physics work, we now know that everything is indeed connected, in atomic level. You can see, the science is getting very close to the source, and our inner spiritual worlds. The words of the ancient masters, are almost proven with science, and perhaps when that day comes, the doors to our evolution to a higher frequency will be opened. It may seem as off-topic, but nothing is off-topic in quantum science. That is where the beauty of this particular branch of physics lie

Now lets have a look at metaphysics, where a lot of people know wrong about. No, metaphysics is not quantum physics..

    Metaphysics

Meta word derives from the Greek word metá meaning "beyond" or "after". However, metaphysics is a branch of philosophy, that is concerned with the explaining the nature of being and the nature of world. Yes, it is similar to physics right?

Philosophy is indeed the beginning of science. As people started to ask question like "what is out there", "what is happening", "what is it like", philosophy was born. The fathers of philosophy as Aristotle, Plato, Confucius or Avicenna had many works on the terms "existance", "objects", "cause and effect", "space and time". Aristotle did a lot of work on ontology, the investigation into the basic categories of being and how they relate to each other.

Ontology, is the main branch of metaphysics. Questioning the existance, as well as exploring it. Later on, Aristotle did a lot of work on ecosystem, laws of nature ( not in math language ), though majority of his studies were not accurate, or incomplete, still extraordinary performance !

Still, don't lose hope from metaphysics, because it is indeed what gave birth to quantum physics. Without a world with philosophy, there would be no science at all.

I will update this topic, both to correct possible mistakes or add additional information, hopefully coming from the lovely members of IS.

    Take care!

need to mention greek philosophy, like plato before artistotle (who is still lot of a fraud), borrowed lot also from judaic concept, http://philologos.org/online.htm lot of greats books on the topic of early science from juadism to christianism through platonicism =) http://philologos.org/__eb-lat/book103.htm this one in particular =)

this also good article about main difference between aristotle and plato on the topic of knowledge in general =) the concept of space and time is already found in the old testament which is way older than plato or even socrates

    http://www.campaigner-unbound.0catch...al_studies.htm

check this too =) the original euclidian principle of scientific knowledge and axiomatic thinking has been also bit debunked by ppl like rieman and more recently godbell too, leaving the field more oriented toward the original sense of knowledge in general, more than the sort of 'scientific intelectual knowledge' developped since the enligthenement century into the objective of funding pseudo rationalist (more like stalinist or bonapartists) republics =)

    G'day Canertac......good stuff here
There is nothing mystical about the unknown only the known so if you are questioned about your beliefs in mysticism just say it's only mystical to you as you not the understanding of something more than you believe!!

I "come up with" or randomly think of things (without effort/pop ups) that are quite Ontology related , am I a New Age Aristotle ?

G'day Sharr......Your connected to your inner knowing Ibelieve, just let it be without effort, in other words don't push it to acquireyour desires otherwise you could end up losing it.
