Hi everyone,
I'm new here...and new with the explicit knowledge of being an indigo. Looking back, experiences through my life have given me some implicit knowledge though - eg. my body has an ability to regress spontaneously to the moment I was born. I often seem to interpret the world in a different way than most others - their ways of thinking are often confusing to me - they somehow lack the wholeness. Do any of you out there know that feeling?
Recently a lot of new experiences have overwhelmed me - I've started seeing colors, spirits, hearing voices and having out-of-body experiences...The most fascinating experience lately is seeing my own face change into different faces - with the whole bonestructure changing - ...what is going on??? I can't seem to find others who knows what I'm talking about...except for people who think I'm refering to symptoms of schizophrenia (I'm taking a masterdegree i psychology so you might imagine my own confusion and anxiety when comparing my experiences with the symptoms my collegeprofessors teach me about...!)
I'm really interested in connecting with other adult indigos - I'm 30 myself. How are you doing in life? How do you manage to stay sane? How do you develop your abilities without flying of into deep spaceIf you have children (I have a 3 year old), how do you keep the old world upbringing from interfering with the new one- if you know what I mean - most kindergardens aren't really very open to the indigo-thought?! (at least not in Denmark where I'm from).
Hope some of you out there feel the same urge to connect...
Love from Papilio

Love is all there was, is and ever will be

@papilio regarding kindergardens, i haven't tried Steinerian but i always wanted an atmosphere of free creating, if that is truely true for these guys, i dont know but they allude it?

Thanks for reaching out - I already love it here!!
I haven't tried Steinerian either but they seem like the only obvious choice. On the other hand a friend of mine who went there finds it hard to connect to the world outside afterwards - He feels lost...I don't know if his feelings are representing the majority of Steinarian students but maybe there isn't enough emphasis on the importance of being able to function with the non-spiritually enlightened world...Maybe there is too big a gap...I'm not saying that the Steinerian way is wrong - far from it - heavens, where would we be if no one took the initiatives they have...I also believe that a forum of free creativity is essential - and badly needed. But I also believe it is somewhat important to at least get the opportunity to learn eg. the social rules of the world today (most people just don't do telepathy) - we don't have to master them completely or agree with the ways of the world but we can't change the world of today if we can't communicate with it or if we don't make an efford to give our children the possibility to learn about and understand what they are up against. It seems to me that it doesn't help to just create a "country" of their own in the middle of the world and then just leave them to navigate for themselves after graduation...On this level continuity between the material and the spiritual is of relevance and might be essential for the stepwise change to occur... Looking back at my previous question: "How do you keep the old world upbringing from interfering with the new one"...then it seems to me that interference might not be the problem - but dominance will...A more accurate question could then be: How do we make the best of the blending of the two ways in this time of transition...?

Hi Everyone. I'm brand new here.
Anyone else notice photographs of themselves (especially with other people) when they are a little unsure of their position amongst those others? My own seem rather odd. I've heard reference to this "shapeshifting" biz but really don't know how to catagorize what I see in my photos..it's almost like I'm starting to "fade out". I've been emotionally drained of late since I'm really not in close contact with those I consider to be on the same wavelength (if you will)..spent a little time in the sun on the ocean yesterday and feel a little stronger..but sought you people out hoping for some sense of community.
Again, HELLO ALL!
Hello, and welcome to IS!![]()
"Death is a stripping away of all that is not you. The secret of life is to "die before you die" — and find that there is no death."
Ummm, yes. I read both of the first pages of the above listed links..the experiences examined there resemble my own in many ways.
