    Dreams about snakes

As far back as I can remember I've had nightmares about snakes every so often. Sometimes in water, sometimes in the house I was living in at the time, and sometimes in an unknown area.

The weird thing is, the last two times I had snake dreams, the snake or snakes were dead. I don't really even remember the first one, but I just remember that when I woke up from the second one(with dead snakes) I had the thought "huh, that again?"

The second one, and I'm assuming the first one were not nightmares either, just normal peaceful dreams.

Does anyone have insight as to what this could mean?

In North American native tribes, the shedding of the snake's skin is associated with life and a new beginning.

    Possible answer?

    That's pretty awesome and exciting.

I think the snakes being dead was pretty significant though because I've never dreamed that before these two and it seemed to be the sole point of the dream.

I was walking in a field with long brown grass/wheat/something and it was flattened. I walked by a single dead snake, looked at it, and kept going. Then I turned right I believe, and saw two dead snakes and I looked at them and woke up.

However snakes are referenced in many cultures for many reasons. Kundalini being another.
