Don´t take sleeping pills.

Learn about magnesium citrate, start with 100mg and slowly raise the amount.

before going to bed eath whole wheat germ (unroasted).

Avoid sugar during the day and especially at night before going to be.

Eat lots of raw oats and green veggies to purify the body.

Our bodies are constantly being bombarded with toxic poisins in the air, water and food we eat.

A body full of poisons will be very difficult to relax because the poisins enter the bloodstream and from there go to the brain where they wreck havoc.

Purification of the mind and body.

At night take slow deep breaths before going to sleep to release toxins in the lungs.

Get into an exercise program for better circulation and drink plenty of purified water.

seek knowledge and ye shall find.

get lots of fresh air and excercise during the day...damiana is an herb you can drink as tea or smoke it(i prefer smoking it), also depending on what you think is keeping you from your sleep(mindracing,...,or simply not being tired) you can use flower essences...

however, it seems that there are lots of people that have trouble sleeping these days(myself too)...

love & a good night sleep hon

I've had problems sleeping since I was little, the past couple of months I've been using Bach's Rescue Sleep remedy and it's been working well for me. So far I've only had one restless night. :)

Hello Brother in Sleeplessness:
All this wholesome advice sounds good unless you are a long-term raving insomniac like I am who would kill or die for a decent night's sleep even once a week. I've become a sleep whore - I'll do anything for sleep. I take benadryl, tryptophan and herbal sleep pills.

I meditate for 15 minutes before going to sleep. Haven't had sleeping problems in a long time. If that doesn't work try exercise too.

I didn't have a lot of problems falling asleep, but staying asleep was hard. I'd toss and turn so much at night that I wouldn't feel rested. I started going to be at the same time everynight and taking Melatonin... it seemed to reset my sleep pattern so I can usually go to sleep without it now.

Try working on getting an out-of-body experience - alias trying hard not to sleep while focusing but relaxing to the max. - try it - I'll bet you can't stay awake :)

Everyone´s metabolism is different.

The enviroment that surrounds us also plays a role.

the toxic accumulations in the body need to be eliminated.

You´d be surprised..... the foods you get at supermarkets are sent through a radiation device to give them longer shelf life.

Add that to the pesticides in the plants used to make the foods.

Hormones in the animals used for meat and poultry.

mercury and amalgam fillings.

you name it we go it!

the list just goes on and on.

Purification is the first step followed by balanced nutrional supplements and wholesome foods (if you can find them).

you will find your cure but you must be diligent in your search and disciplined in your protocol.

Don´t use toothpaste with flouride, flouride is accumulated in the pineal gland and lessens the secretion of melatonin (the sleep hormone).

if you take melatonin the body may get used to it and you may become addicted to it.

play it safe.
