    I say

Why the hell do people meditate so much? Yes occasionally it's good but i think the best step ever to ake in spiritual growth is developing your own form of spiritual arts. i have attempted and succeeded in this. i am out of a practice yes but i have taken a huge step that it may would take considerably linger to do with meditation. My point is although meditation can be good you merely taking a few tiny tiny tiny steps each time.

    i...dont.

when i meditate i end up doing missions for the most part. so your not alone. every once in a while. but im past that....or not good at it. too much work to do in that realm. who has time to do nothing?

iv been known to jump out of my body to think faster too. its all up to you. meditation is only one way. there are many out there. but then again im not the most stable person in the world......we have others for stability.

I say, why be concerned about how other people spend their time? :P

Everyone is different There is a way to spend your time for everyone, and itll be different for every person.
Just like the reasons for doing something is different from person to person.

    I meditate, because I like meditating :P

Meditation has become a drug free escape hatch. ~clear your mind~ that's right, don't think about anything, don't look at your thoughts or your feelings and process them.

Use meditation as a way to become completely unconscious while telling yourself it is ~raising your vibrations~

    In a nut shell - that's why.

The only reason people arent meditating 5-10 hours a day is that theyre doing it wrong.... horribly wrong.

Best way to meditate is to not meditate
It's about being aware off your thoughts and not blanking them out.
Trying not to think is like asking the heart not to beat.

It can help with depression and anxiety. (In my personal experience, not claiming it is a universal cure-all) I find that it energizing me at times, (If I have a good session.) and can renew my will and focus.

All depends on what you focus on in your meditation..
It IS a "universal cure-all" if you grow every part of yourself in equal ammount....
