    Identity issues?

some more advice on my problem? why not? i already talked about this to my best friend, and she really helped, but i want to see what you guys have to say.

i have identity issues.... or do i? i only began to really doubt it when my best friend came over from colombia. we already knew we had many things in common, but the more time we spent together, the more similarities we found. it wasnt just our likes, but our nature. it was almost creepy; our voices, laugh are the same, our handwriting and signatures are practically identical. She freaked when she first saw my sig on the bottom of a painting i gave her. Others notice too, and many have said we look related. We say things at the same time frequently, and were able to communicate telepathically easily, the easiest ive ever experienced. both of us are thinking... whats up with this?

you remind me of the joy in play

are you asking if the problem is something wrong with you or a conflict caused by how your friend reacted?

Oh no im talking about me.. My friend was just surprised and found it funny.
I just found it odd in the ways we are alike and the synchronicity between us. I thought it was because I was mimicing her energy , but when we were together I felt balanced, I felt it in my energy. just as balanced or even better than meditating, I feel like a lotus flower that opened, like if I found a part of myself that was lost in all the things I experienced in my life. I never felt this way with anyone else and I dont know why. Even with mimicing others energy, I would not feel good acting the wa they did. Inside I knew itwasnt me. nothing like that came to mind when I was with her, I just was. So my real question was if I am being myself or was I just mimicing again? I asked my guides and they say definately not, its obvious that im not because I feel good! So I was just wondering if any of you had the same problem, id like to hear about them

I think what could have happened is two very closely connected subconsciousness as you 2 spend more time together your subconscious is getting more and more in tune with each other. this results in what i call the two but one subconscious.
Let one look out on to the sea and there find treasure greater than you think could be.
Let clouds calm those which have fear.

I think it's ok to be a bit jellyfish-like in relationship. Maybe the questions is this a safe person with whom to share that kind of intimacy. And particular is that mimicry you have leaving you feel strong and calm or weak and fragmented?

I have the same thing with a friend of mine, but this friend is a boy. I know someone in my town who sees auras. This lady says that I'm yellow, a really rare aura colour, while my best friend is dark blue. This means that when the two lights get close, they create a white light.
That's not all. Our numerology lines up extremely well, because we have a lot of similarities and compliments. We also have quite a few trines made up of 3's and 9's.

Whenever this friend and I spend time together for a few days in a row, we get quite telepathic. Just last night I was quite tired and I drew some of his energy while trying to solve a logic problem. Then for the rest of the night he said his thoughts felt distant. We get so in-sync that we'll say the same sentence at the same time, in the same voice. We have the same opinions on most things, and our penmanship is also quite similar. We have the same likes and dislikes in musics and colours, and the same hobbies.

It's not really unhealthy, because I know for a fact that our energies don't mimic one another. We compliment each other in some things. I'm right brained and more of a writer and speaker, and I'm also good at math. While he doesn't do so well at math and english, he excels in every science he's presented with. We've both grown individually, seeing as we were quite close when I was 12, but then grew distant up until this past year. We grew quite similarly this entire time, and have always thought the same way, even when apart.

It's nothing bad. It just means a lot of things line up for the two of you. However, I know that when I spend a lot of time with this friend, sometimes we get so in-sync that we basically both become the essence of the white light our auras make together. So we become so bonded we become basically one person with two bodies.

I'd recommend that if you start feeling drained by this, just take some time alone and do the things you love. Just make sure to stay grounded with this friend, and have fun.

Nothing's wrong with having someone you're really close to.

    I love you!

Your imaginary friend is taking over too much. MPD most probably, you can't talk to yourself like that in front of your other self, what if others find out, they all be crazy, and you'll be telepathic because you're both chameleons trying to fit into each others life instead of being who you really are, I'm a dolphin too you know.

Eh, Dolphinchild, I have a friend like that - a guy. We grew up like brother and sister and we are so similar in everything from looks to height to personality that people have assumed for years that we are closely related (some have assumed that we're twins). We were born five days apart have the same color hair and eyes, we're both ambidextrous, we have the same mannerisms, laugh the same way and we're always responding to people at the same time (and with the same words so it sounds like stereo) - I could go on and on. While the things like our mannerisms could be chalked up to having been each others best friend for years, there are things about us that are erily similar. I don't begin to try to explain it, it just is

“What if you slept? And what if, in your sleep, you went to heaven and there plucked a strange and beautiful flower? And what if,when you awoke, you had the flower in your hand? Ah, what then?”
    ― Samuel Taylor Coleridge
