It seems many people are being affected by the Mercury retrograde and Mars retrograde cycles at present. Lots of unwanted change, stress, and anger and frustration coming to the surface. Here is a Benevolent Prayer to say aloud with joy (if you want)

My feeling about the 2012 energy at the moment is that there is still a period of sifting, sorting, and self-examination. I think this means for us that we are being called to evaluate what is important to us in our lives, who is important, what we want from each area of life; that we are being given the opportunity to "start again" with anything that is not satisfactory or is not for our highest good.

I think this can be a painful process, but if we can look at it as a new beginning -- and not as an ending -- then we will soon find ourselves on a new, more positive track, both psychologically and spiritually

Yes, after talking to a few people offline and reading some of the new posts here at IS, it seems the "theme" this week is letting go. Letting go of things that no longer serve us, and pursuing new directions. Change is never easy, but 2012 seems to be all about change.

I think the energy is starting to change a little, now. There is a softness coming to it -- for those who are open to this -- and a feeling of a belief that past efforts can soon bring longed-for results. Resolution is in sight

A couple of weeks ago, some of us described the 2012 energy as being like a river, winding and forging a new path. I now have the distinct feeling that that river has many tributaries running off it, as it flows along -- like branches of a tree, that spread outwards and grow rapidly.

I wonder if these "branches" represent new growth or new directions.

Perhaps they symbolise the fact that many of us are faced with choices at this time. We can stay on course with the river or choose to branch off in another direction. We have options -- it's up to us -- and each of us needs to decide where he/she is headed with 2012.

Another few thoughts on the energy at this time....

Some people are feeling "choked" or stifled, as if they are in the grip of something that is forcing them to be something they do not want to be, or to live in a way that does not make them happy. I am sure this feeling will subside, sometime soon. I am sure it will be replaced by a feeling of liberation, relief and new adventure.

After a few recent conversations with people, it seems there is still a lot of anger, frustration and forced stagnation in some people's lives at the moment. Mars retrograde and Mercury retrograde are both difficult aspects (I'm not an astrologer, so I'm relying on others' interpretations of these cycles).

Hang in there, everybody! Relief is in sight. A couple of weeks more, and then things will free up and start moving again in a constructive manner

Share the message that you brought from Home, and can deliver it without cracking the idea of your ego. This is the piece that we need to re-build on planet Earth for humans to be able to take the next step and live as empowered beings.

It must be not only an expansion of the ego, but a complete re-working of the ego. Instead of being a solid, rigid structure with no flexibility, we are now going to honor the people that come into our lives, saying simply: “I like the effect you have on me. I will wear that effect very well and I will bounce it to the rest of the world blending. I will start looking for the beauty.”

You are not creatures of planet Earth…you are here on a short visit. If we can help you re-member where you truly came from, you will re-member the fun little games and the rules you set up so you could play this game.

As with everything, this too shall pass. March has been rough on everyone in some way or another but we'll make it through, hopefully unscathed. April should be a big month. I'll put the link to the energy forecast where I posted a piece on what we might expect for this month.

This is interesting. I often read generalized statements like this, but I simply don't see that as truth around me. March has been very rough for me, I received a few unexpected and very strange, painful blows but, the fact is that everybody around me live peacefully and calmly as always, nothing changes, just ordinary, everyday life... nothing new. For everybody around me life is uneventful since I pay attention to it and count "events" in my life.

What does this mean?

I think "forewarned is forearmed". Never hurts to read some observations of what might be around the corner.

I was born with Mars retrograde, so my whole life has been like this! The last few weeks, things for me have been calmer. I know full well that when everyone else goes back to a smooth time, things will turn again to chaos for me. Truly.
Oh well....I must have chosen it!
