That kind philosophy was popular around the same time Christianity was on the rise.

However, from what I have read of both the ancients and moderns (bear in mind different sects have different perspectives, I ran into a lot of Wiccans and Re-constructionists, other people may have different experiences) is that the people generally believed that the gods were each separate deities. In any case, how do the myths related to Helios and Vesta bare similarity to the Christian trinity?

Easy Mother, Father "Son" Son=Energy=Creation Yes the Gods are separate deities...but they are still united in Oneness..all stemming from the one...just as we stem from the one as well. I had to walk a certain path to gain the understanding and the perspectives that I have come through. I've experienced what some call the most evil acts if only in "thought" and it would scare the beejesus out of me. But having these experiences gave me the understanding of why they occur and where personal discretion comes into play. We can not label anyone or anything as purely evil....if that were the case why would God have even allowed it's creation. We chose to experience duality which is why many of us experience our reality in that manner. But the ultimate goal..raise above duality and experience our unity once again. For Male/Female and 2 "Opposite" polarities that creates the third....one in the same originally.
Loving yourself has to occur before you can allow anyone else to Love you in return.
Sometimes I just want to spread my wings and soar....anyone else want to come with me?

I believe that when a seer sees, what they see is not necessarily what was shown, but that is also why there are so many similararities between visions. To me, this seems like the vision of a real seer, but that the seers mind is not clear so the vision has more then it needs.Believing that the mind clouds, or better dresses up with embellisments the vision, as a seer I try to see and undertstand visions, and other transmissions at there most reduced reality, sort of like fraction reduction, because in their simpilist form is where it is closest to the truth. The greatest myths in religion have been the religious believing the most embellished form of the seers vision, and taking that at face value. That being said, I find this article interesting, and about the contents of this vision I have some insight to add for what that is worth to anyone because nonexistance, pre eexistance and early creation are a "place" Ive seen into and understand certain things about the gods of those realms.Ill have to go back and check it out though I just realized, lol... because of certain features the phone internet lacks, and I want to go reread something so Ill have to double post.

Most people here have read the stories that explain about the difference between the realms of Light/Spirit and the realms of Chaos that were created by Yaltabaoth supposedly out of complete "ignorance" to anything above him. After reading something the other day things started to fall into place and I began to see pieces of the puzzle coming together to tell the bigger story. Amenti you might just enjoy this since you especially don't like the concepts of Light and Dark. This comes from a more "new age" perspective but yet at the same moment the new age concepts are uncovering truths that have been hidden from plain sight for centuries. Now taking this into consideration you have a different understanding of the two different realms that each spirit flows through on their journey to incarnate here upon this Planet. This get's rid of the concept of cosmic ignorance and instead shows that EVERYTHING was planned perfectly as is. I was sitting in a Methodist Church the other day and saw the symbol on their alter it was a triangle overlaid with the trinity knot with the Alpha and Omega symbols. Being me I got bored and drew it and then reversed it. This is pretty much what I drew and from what I understand this symbol is ancient and represents the perfect balance of "As Above, So Below".Anyway it's extremely odd because this understanding wipes out the concept of an evil entity trying to destroy us and keep us off the "correct" path to God. Oh wait...that sorta is a religion isn't it....that stems back to Paganism. To the concept of ONE overall God and many other Gods that are aspects of their "personality" so to speak. Thus creator lives through each and every single one of us, experiencing exactly what we choose to experience. This would completely abolish the need for worship except to express gratitude for being able to co-create in perfect harmony and accordance to the Divine Plan which in every moment being created through the usage of Divine Magick...thought, focus and energy that is God and that is our Spirit that is connected and unified. There is a story that Neal Donald Walsh writes where it explains how the Spirit of each of us comes before Alpha and Omega and makes it's decision on what to experience during it's lifetime. Enjoy and I hope this does give a different perspective. Blessings and Love,Desiree
in regaurds to alpha and omega, wher it says we each have gone before them before being incarnated and other things...I would say that I know what the writer is talking about but its off.Alpha and omega are not two halves of the true God, but expressions of the first law, they are entities, and express the "likeness" of the true God, but dont represent any side or aspect of the true God. They are both independent entities and aspects of the creator, but as entities, they pre exist the creator as gaurdians of nonexistance (home of the gods) and the seat of the true God, also refered to as chaos/bohu. Both part of the creator and inspiration to the creator who views them as seperate as itself while understanding that they are also the foundation of its(the creator)existance.alpha and omega, the humbelest,(?)Yes, the most extreme polarities(?), absolutely, however "they" as individual" entities have very little to do with creation in the framework the writer uses, because as entities they are the keepers of non_existance, the seat of the true God where the creator itself is an aspect of the True Gods thrown/place of rest or being. What I believe the writer is seeing when human souls go before alpha and omega as he calls them is what is called pre-existance. Pre-existance is when creator goes before the true God, (figurative) to discuuss the potential for existance, to which the true god has always said "no" and alpha and omega, who are also the foundation of the creator are expressions of that "no". "No" was always the law and alph and omega spranginto being, within the double realm of alpha and omega which was nonexitance sprang the creator who is not called the creator in the realm of these gods because the creator is only called that in existence. The true God has always said "no" and established the gaurdians because of ego and the subsequent hell dimmension, the inevidable by-products of creation...anyway, creator conceptualizes existance and brings it before the sourceless source and argues that the humans that would be resposible for those things could also extinguish them and reestablish perfection byway of the principle(sourceless source/true God). In presenting its case (figurtive), the creator brought in to pre-existance the human soul, and the gods layed eyes on all of us, existance to the gods would mean freedom and life, but also hell and suffering to what was other wise the perfect state of peace and bliss. I believe that this is what the writers refering to, but the ego concept in mind causes him to see it as god giving humas direction, or humans telling the gods what they would do, but really it was our conceptualzation in an arguement so to speak.
