Ok…I reserve the right to completely change my outlook and be completely embarrassed about this post in the future...probably in the near future…maybe right after I press that post button…perhaps even as I’m writing this. No need to respond to this bit of brain vomit. I’m just feeling a need to vent what I’m feeling at this moment.
This is spring break for me. I’ve spent my time sick…coughing up a lung or two…I’m grouchy and feeling very sorry for myself. This is NOT my usual state of being…my energy is low. I’m usually the Winnie the Pooh type…feeling a bit Eeyoreish right now.
I’ve done the crazy, abusive father thing, the crazy, abusive husband thing, the single mom thing, the health issue thing, the money issue thing, I’ve gone through the teen years with my daughter and cared for my brain damaged brother and I’ve rolled with it and I really do see the huge growth that I’ve experienced in the hard times. I do nothing half way. I give all that I have to everything that I do and all of the people in my life. I take care of everybody. I take on any challenge and appreciate how those challenges make me grow.
I'm tired!
The waves keep coming…one after another. I get a day or two (once in a while) where things seem easy and then another wave comes and blindsides me. I want one year…just one year of easy. I want someone to take care of ME. I want chicken soup when I’m sick, I want deep pockets when I’m poor, I want stable, predictable, boring! Just one year…time to regenerate and regroup. I want to win the lottery, find the magic cure, and stabilize all of the people in my life. I want EASY…for one year!!! No money worries, people worries, time worries, job worries, health worries.
DO YOU HEAR ME, UNIVERSE???? One year!!!
Here are some specifics:
I don’t want this to harm anyone.
I don’t want this to come by making me sicker or by harming me in any other way (to get me to stop).
I don’t want to lose my job or put my job in jeopardy.
I DO NOT want this to stop my spiritual growth.
In a week or so I'm sure I'll be back to my old self...hopping waves but happily.

I didn't want to get out of bed this morning and when I discovered we'd had 4 inches of snow, I didn't want to leave the house. Managed to get to work OK but then slipped on ice outside the parking garage! Now my back hurts and the dr says Ibuprofen and ice! I want to retire so I can stay at home when I want to!! And please, Universe, I don't want to be disabled so I can stay at home. Thank you!! Anyone else for our whine party?

I know you said you didn't need anyone to reply... but I'm a rebel. I know it feels good to just know people are listening.
I have felt this way many many times... like I'm such a good person- I give so much... and one thing after another happens.... throw me a damn bone.
It gets easier... and I just keep remembering .. whatever doesn't kill me makes me stronger- and a better person on the other side.
If we were close by I'd bring you some soup!

Usually...I push away any offers of energy my way.
I'm learning, slowly, that the give and take of energy increases the energy for both parties. If one only gives and rejects taking energy...this boosts energy of one and decreases energy in the other. If one takes energy and does not give in return the same happens. But if one takes energy and gives in return the energy swirls and feeds and grows...increasing the energy of both parties and sparking growth.

I know just how you feel when you say you want someone to look after you! I'm a carer for my mum and often feel a similar way. Sometimes I really wish that someone would take me out somewhere nice for a day, make my dinner one evening etc etc. The feelings do pass and it does help spiritual growth but it's hard sometimes.
