I love kids... they are great teachers - but I don't LOVE kids if you know what I mean. The destruction of innocence is the most obscene of sins in my opinion.

Still, there are those that pleasure in such and there is likely a very private hell for them, where I hope they are consumed slowly, by maggots.

NONETHELESS there are SUPPOSED to be legal protections against entrapment.. where an offender is lured into an arrest.. be it pot, prostitution or pornography.

THIS is the very reason I do not visit MySpace or FaceBook.

Its only entrapment if you are somehow coerced to break the law in the first place. Looking at child porn is illegal. Propositioning a child for sex is illegal. Just because the cops are using "tricksy" techniques to catch these pervs does not mean that they tricked them into breaking the law. If a cop tricks you into breaking the law and then arrests you...That's entrapment. These techniques, while underhanded perhaps, do not meet the legal definition of entrapment.

My first job out of graduate school was counseling incest families. Never will I forget the 11 year old girl pregnant by her father. Or the girl whose father, the pastor of a large african american church, had intercourse with her from the ages of 3-14, when she finally told someone. Of course all the church ladies came to the trial dressed to the nines talking about what a great man of god he was so he got off. Or the girl who killed herself 2 days before christmas by running in front of a car on an off ramp. When I got back to work her obituary was in my mail box, with a post it note attached to it from my boss with the words "welcome back." Her dad raped her too. The male victims didn't fare much better. I don't much give a shit what's done to stop these people. Years later working in public health I saw the real life statistics in action when several of my clients, young welfare mothers, were the same girls that had been molested a few years earlier. Guess they learned all they were good for was screwing, or they just wanted to create a person they thought might love them unconditionally. I'm sorry, I know there's no one here who can understand what I'm saying, unless you have also talked to an 11 year old pregnant by her dad, or you were in that position yourself at one time.

A nine year old girl here was abducted and viciously raped for hours and hours by two men in a big white van, who thank God were caught. Her insides were so ravaged she not only had VD, but needed to get a total hysterectomy. No having kids for her. No normal hormonal development.
