I dont follow any religion.I personally see religions as a way to "mask" the reason why it was actually made..

My religion - I just believe whatever I feel right, and leave out the wrong ones. And my guardian follows me around.
Donʻt deny religion wasnʻt useful when first invented though.
Dolphin energy, light and love. The world is what you make of it. Reap all the rewards but tend and care for the earth all you can. Anything can turn a great person evil. Stray from riches, learn spiritually. I don't blame people for there mistakes. Just as long as they learn. Remember with love you can do anything.

Like Siddartha, I feel I must follow my own path - I try to incorporate the good aspects of all religions and let go of or revamp the "bad". Right now mostly a combination of native american spirituality and buddhism, also bits of christianity and islam.
Actually James Churchward's books on Lemuria/Mu talked about how there was only 1 religion how it started at the beginning. It involved Truth and Oneness. It was spread throughout the "colonies" so to speak and was carried away after the sinking. Yet it was transformed into numerous other religions over the years and of course the dogmas and such became built up. His books are amazing....I've read children of Mu and Symbols of Mu I believe...there are 3 of them. They are based upon Naccal (? sp?) Tablets somewhere in India. I am pretty sure if my memory serves me as correct the Naccal's were a group originally considered Lemurian that traveled through Eqypt and eventually went to India.

it's not so much as it was a religion, just a truth. We created religion when we started warping the truth. This is of course my viewpoint. I do not feel that anyone is wrong though. I think that everyone needs to believe what they feel is good for them.
if I had to pick a main stream religion, my good friend states that none are more true than others, Buddhism is the closest but still not on the mark. All have pieces to the puzzle. Put them together, though it all fits together... but there is still something somehow missing.
That is why I play beliefs by ear.![]()

To me, the book of Revelation states quite clearly that the 'whore of Babylon' is religion in general. It refers quite clearly to the priests of the Old Testament who wore their scarlet and purple.
The problem with religion is when you start to compartmentalise and dogmatise 'truth'. There is a reason that there is always a 'breakaway' religion. At some point someone will point out that religion is political and point out the truth.
It happened with Christianity. These words spoken by the Jesus character were taken and on top of which a whole new dogma and religion was invented thus totally missing the point of what he was saying.
How do you compartmentalise and dogmatise truth? You don't. You are just left with an empty shell of lies.

I am Mormon. But don't worry, I haven't had the idiocy of the mormon culture bred into me. Methodist by birth. With a bit of a Buddhist mentality.
What's interesting is that in the Bible is talks about priests being these whores. Yet in the Rastafari movement Babylon is known as the cities...modern society and anything that goes against nature and a more peaceful way of life. The "Whores of Babylon" are those that choose to live this kind of lifestyle. You have a "Religion" saying religion is bad except your belief in Jesus. Then you have a more "new age movement" cause it's tied into a political movement and about equality for the people. Religion in and of itself is not "bad" nor "evil" it tries to explain things to people...yet has completely turned away from it's original purpose which was to bring people together. Not separate them and divide them causing judgments. Heck even Jesus/Yeshua SAID what was going to happen with his teachings . He said that they would be twisted and manipulated....that's why the teachings after his death wee supposed to be turned over to his partner and equal Mary Magdalene, which never actually occurred except in France where she traveled to. Oddly enough isn't this where a lot of "Secret Societies" stemmed from? Hmmmm never looked at that connection before. Anyway the thing is as long as people treat each other right and follow their heart...it does not matter the religion.

None. It's more spiritual than being told what to believe and how to believe it.

If I was going to label my path I would go with Pagan, because connecting with nature and honouring the wheel of the year is really central to me, but I use that more so other people will get that my spiritual path has a strong basis in connecting with nature. I'm also influenced by Buddhism, and currently finding a lot of truth in the Tibetan Bon Tradition (though I've only just started reading about it so don't know much yet!). I tend to feel the best path is the one that feels really true to you, and if that means having strands of different paths woven in, or finding our own way altogether, it's all good.
If I had to label myself with a religion Id say Im what ever it is that Jesus and Buddha are, (which sure as hell isn't buddhism or christianity), thats my faith. I dunno what you call it, but its a lot like Taoism. I fallow my own religion and it is based on experience of my own life, and the doctrine found within me.

As a child I was Southern Baptist but being part Native American I had questions and issues they could not answer or resolve. I have been looking for those and more answers all my life, seeking Truth and Understanding. Maybe twenty years ago, give or take, I discovered the word "Gnostic" and realized "That's me".
I'll tell anyone who is or started out traditional Christian that it's a rough journey but I found my answers and feel happier now than I ever could have "back then." It's not for everyone because some people cannot take on the responsiblity.
I'm delighted to find that few if any "Indigos" have that trouble with Responsiblity.
Rambling again, sorry, but to answer in a word... "Gnostic"

Then again I prefer "Spirituality" over "Religion"
What are your religious beliefs, and why?
