Are you afraid of mice?
A getting to know you GAME thread!
What is your perception on things?
Why are things the way you see them?
Tell us how you see it!
See how peoples ideas change.
Ask a question... hyperthetical or whatever and see what kind of replies you get.
For example...
I ask you... Do you like the color blue?
you reply... yes...
I ask you... why?
You tell me what it reminds you of whatever, and then the questions get deeper... why does it remind you of bla bla... and as many people as you like can question anyone... and reply... this thread will need a lot of backreading... but at least we all learn to understand each other and how we think!

I am not afraid of mice either.
But my mum is, she said that she used to love them until her brother threw 3 of them all at once down the back of her top when she was little and her back was scarred up pretty bad as they tried to scratch their way out, so this influenced her mind to be petrified of mice and all rodents since!

I love mice, they are better pets then hamsters, they don't bite and they won't jump off your shoulder.
My dad had a simlar experience, his friend through a whole bunch of babies down his shirt and even though he feels really bad about it he was so freaked out by the little "hot water" babies. He's not scared of them though. My mom is petrified of ALL animals.
No, I prefer hamsters because they are fat and walk funny hehehe.

I worked at a pet store and we had so many little kids come in the back bleeding and we had to try and stop it because they'd picked one up and it bit them.
cool, THE HAMSTERS REVOLUTION! We will be free! FREE! Right plan A... bite all the little kiddies and when you drop to the floor, run like hell!
Plan B... eat so much and stuff your pouches to the point the kiddies mother think you have a tumor, go to the vet, pretend to die and YOUR FREE! But you live in a garbage can!

We also had sad timesthe hamsters would get dropped and a few died. Right in my hands, the EVIL manager told me to put it in the freezer because it was going to die anyways. I wouldn't let him. Then I kept going over to and making sure it was gone because I couldn't believe it and people kept telling me to stop touching it and I couldn't not. I just wanted to be able to give it's little life back.
tear
wraps it up in bandages and makes a maze 3 storey home for it* I am kinda pathetic about animals, I treat them like humans, even read magazine articles to them. People think I am nuts.

I'm the same way! Me and my friends bought a mouse Fleance (from Macbeth) and he was sooo super cute, he was the first pet my friend owned.
I dont remember the first pet I ever owned, because this family has always had animals around them. At one point we had 7 dogs and 3 cats and 2 rabbits, with a hamster, donkey, and an avery of 250 birds! haha

First pet was my dog Barney the IVth I believe. He was a very old dog when he finally was put down.
the first dogs I remember is my great grandmothers 3 Yorkshire terriers and a black scottish terrier, when she and my grandparents lived with us. I was around 5 I think, unsure. maybe younger... this is the only under 7 memory I have which is apparantly true according to mum... and the scottie had to go, because it used to bite me too much and mum was frightened of it as I was so small for my age etc.
Eventually she gave it away to a family friends daughter, who was 15, 2yrs later the dog ripped her face off for no reason, poor girl is badly scarred.
But those are the first dogs I remember we owned.
I dont remember the Yorkies names... but I remember the scottie was called Duke.
Then we got a border collie called Emma.

For 2 years after Emma died we couldnt have any dogs in the house at all. which upset the whole family. Because Emma died of parvo virus, she was only 14 months old.

Oh Parvo makes me so sad. The store had a few puppies come down with it and then they were put in kennels and couldn't be taken out and they were really hard to adopt out afterwards. We even had a couple people who bought the puppy then they came down sick and the store wouldn't cover it... soo mad
I will have them! But mum is fussy!

We had two all white jack russells and they were the sweetest things in the world. They got parvo and ended up getting adopted out together!!!
