Personally, I think that there is some undeniable evidence in support of the reincarnation of the soul into different bodies in different lives. It gets me every time I hear about past life regression stories! Reincarnation is something you can just feel. The circular motion of the universe. Great link.![]()

GLP huh, funny that you post something from there, here!?! I quit reading that site for a time because I found it often to dark & offense. (Not the general Doom, I like me a good slice of doom from time to time!) Indirectly that’s how I found I.S., via searching for more meaningful and uplifting forums. I’ve recently found my humor again with it and am once again finding it fairly entertaining!...
On to your post; I don’t know, I’m getting kind of a mixed message out of the OP! Although I admire his fortitude in posting so much content, I’m finding him a bit dogmatic in his harping on the religiously biased view that the Vedas are the ONLY valid source on the topic of Reincarnation. Further, the mixed message that I’m getting is that he keeps stating this, but then turns around and post many a varied source on the topic from outside the Vedas, both new and old???
Don’t get me wrong I agree that any candid study of the subject without studying the Vedas would just be plain silly!
Why do you bring it up Drakke1??? Are you trying to start a new dialog on the subject here? I’d love to see a rousing new thread on the subject! If so, consider this me cheering you on!!!
Thanks-
W.E.
It is both true and not true.
All life reincarnates recycles life to death to life to death.
sort of like some say that all physical matter is just this one little electron zipping around weaving over itself backward and forward and sideways and loopty-looping in what we perceive as time.
We have past lives in the past and future lives in the future.
But we also have future lives in our past, and past lives in our future.
In soulscape which is like unto light there IS no past/future, just an eternal now reverberating through itself on the drumskin of time.
you are a past/future/parallel life of me. I am a past/future/parallel life of you.
There is only ONE life, re-incarnating forward and backward and onto itself life piled on life, swirled around, bumping into itself unwitting in the crowd.
We/you/I this ONE life will attain that goal of getting beyond all life and death at its culmination. That culmination happened/will happen at the reincarnation as the one who came to be called Buddha. Couple millenia back or so, that is the point as it appears in (timeless) time, our/your/my exit point.
Until then, we are just thse reverberating past lives of Buddha bouncing off each other, moving in stages, doing our bit whether forward or backward.
So, do you look ahead to the inevitable desitny or just put your head out the window of the life cycle car and enjoy the ride while it lasts?

It's important to challenge belief systems when trying to comprehend these topics. All That IS is 1 - in the many. The only way for consciousness to exist, is to live - living means growth, joy, knowledge experience - and knowing no end of it. So how does 1 life form attain this? segregating it's own consciousness in elaborate experiences which support a healthy balance of forever and new. This is what we call LIGHT. In its pure form it lacks any perspective and overwhelms with complexity and creation.
DARK is a simplification of experience, and in its true form we recognize as control. If All That IS became all dark, It would lose instantly perspective of lack of control as there would be no other consciousness to rekindle.
Nothing dies - everything dies. What we individually believe determines what happens to us in between. We believe in a god entity - only one. How could there be two? Buddha, Jesus, etc are all manifestations and interpretations of a complex system of letting us all know in varrying degrees there is more than here. I believe it is too easy to write everything off as infinite, unthinkable, unperceivable, incontrollable - What if the answers to all these questions are simple, easy, attainable, and can be experienced? Gool syuff to think about.
