Is this the hand of John the Baptist?

"When archaeologists claimed to have found the bones of John the Baptist amid the ruins of an ancient Bulgarian monastery experts were understandably sceptical.
But carbon dating tests carried out at Oxford University have provided scientific evidence to support the extraordinary claim.
A knucklebone has been dated to the 1st Century AD - a time when the revered Jewish prophet is believed to have lived."

I find it interesting why people seem to need evidence or proof of something, isnt it a matter of faith as they say?

I've read that during that time of John the Baptist, that there was more than one of them. It was sort of a way to spread the word without getting caught by the authorities. Something to consider.

During the 1st century AD there were a lot of knuckle bones walking around. Most people had quite a few knuckles.

That is interesting though as the relic fetish did not develop until some centuries earlier.
