But really the clearest sign is that you quickly feel drained in their company. There are probably other signs, using clairvoyance etc., but you often won't need them.

People can drawn energy from you, especially if there are of a negative nature, or drained themselves. You will feel it in your solar plexus, and you may find you feel down after meeting someone like this. You can protect yourself against this though.

psychic vampires prefer to be in crowds.
They are energized by feeding off the energy of others.
They are uncomfortable being alone all the time.
In relationships they tend to distract and dominate you; keep you off balance and feeling tired after you talk to them.
They drain you even before you talk to them, the idea of spending time with them seems to bring you down.
Psychic vampires can be manipulative if not emotionally balanced and spiritually mature.

It can be a subtle unintentional thing too, what could be seen as more of a quirk rather then a curse.


Feeling drained of energy and the need to re-up seems perfectly natural, not knowing how to do so naturally and in a most fitting manner for many individuals is different, and a less thought of benefit from meditation, positive outlets, exercise and eating good.

That's a good point. Energy vampires aren't doing it maliciously, and they don't know they're draining others of energy.
