Thanks for your beautiful post. I relate--same thing here. I hate killing or harming any living thing. When I was hanging out and sharing with the Brahmin and the Kshatraya, they were always urging me to stop being such a sadhu and start being a sanyasi. I need some sadhu time to develope the gifts I can share as a sanyasi. They understood that eventually. There's a lot of Jain in me--Ahimsa! They got that, too--eventually.

    LOVE!
    Richard

    PS
There's a large Tarantula living here in one of the rock gardens. LakotaMD and I rescued her from crossing a busy street and gave her a home. She moved right in, She built a borrow at the base of a Juniper tree. I'm glad she's here. I like the company of G-D's little ones.

I feel bad about all of the ants I steped on, pulled apart and watched the two halves of their body walk off in different directions and stuff like that. I used to kill bugs when I was a kid but I haven't been able to kill bugs for a long time. My mail man is not delivering my mail because there is a wasps nest by my mailbox aperently my land lord don't care and I don't know what to do about it.
And while I stood there I saw more than I can tell and I understood more than I saw; for I was seeing in a sacred manner the shapes of all things in the spirit, and the shape of all shapes as they must live together like one being.

The spiders now that they are welcomed inside and outside of my home but the big ones stay outside. We don't get that many spiders inside because there isn't much food specially when my dog Mongo well eat the flies. But I do feel bad if I kill any bugs, even when a accident. But if this really fast wiggly bugs come in they scary me and I catch them and say I am sorry and squash.

    OMG, ME TOO!

I try not to kill bugs...they seem drawn to me...they can not stay away.

This guy hung out on my thumb for an hour....I finally had to put him down on the pepper plant.

I was watching a movie where they were racing to save a building from getting demolished, and in the closing credits I noted that some of the filming for that scene had been in Prague. When I got home I saw this on the internet as breaking news.... the pope talking about architecture standing as a legacy in the city... while being filmed in Prague, with a spider crawling on him..... Perseverence. There's a story about an alledged ancestor of mind and a spider, and perseverence.

I feel very bad about killing bugs. But I do if they're mosquitos or have more than 8 legs :shudder: I still feel really bad though.

I also hate cockroaches with a passion.
