Interested and Experimenting

I just wanted to say hello and introduce myself to this community.
This is not something that I would usually do, but sometimes I am just drawn to the digital realm, and I can't really explain it. I have to wake up really early and I have a lot of things going on, but I am inclined to believe that things happen when they are supposed to and as long as I am in the flow, I will just be and discover things that I should know.
My life has been strange recently because I feel like I am in a situation of trying to conform my body and mind to something that works with society, when I know that I should go out and just do things for myself and other people and find my purpose in society. I know that there is something there besides a career that I "choose" or a way to make money that can get me a "lifestyle" that I am supposed to want. I am just dissatisfied with this philosophy, and often dissatisfied with the options. I find working in the field of art to be a bit of a pacifier, but there are moments when I just feel faster and smarter than everyone else, and I just can't understand why we are not working at our potential all of the time. Or living at our potential, really. And then I have been open to the idea of an awakening happening in 2012 and I am trying to do what I can to prepare. One of those things is to start to travel to see the world. I have decided to sever my ties to my burgeoning career as a theatre artist and leave my comfortable surroundings to go see the world, which I have finally discovered, is more than enough of a goal to have. I had always been trained that I had to call myself something and pick something to be in order to be successful. I now think that it is enough to have a dream to do something general, like see the world and along the way, be who I am. I will be a person who is generous and accepting to many souls and I am sure that I will be touched by the lives of others in my travels and be able to share the love. I guess I just want to greet folks right now and see if there are other people who have advice, share my musings, or need encouragement.

Yeah, I am pretty sure that is happening. Maybe not a full on war
but does anyone think that in a couple years, the world as we know it is going
to be very very different?
I myself, am embarking on the world travels that I have always wanted to make.
Sell house, get to seeing the world.
That's all I care about.
