The universe is all about cycles.

    Nothing is permanent.

sometimes that's what i think...if i understand you right...that everything that happens, no matter how different it can be from something else, is just one little part, a little piece from a giant puzzle!

i dont think the worlds gonna end. no way. i do think that we are heading for some really tuff times brought on by years and years of bad desicions/actions. i hope i'm wrong and people start making better desicions.

but what sort of bothers me in all this is it has been the end of the world for hundreds and hundreds of species of animals.and all anyone seems to be talking about is the silly humans. i mean i like the humans, mostly some of them, but i liked all those other animals too.

You know... there are some days that I really hope to G-d that the world DOES end. The way cycles happen... with every end comes a new beginning.

And I am just biting my tongue, because I'm thinking you didn't even know some of those animals. And I LOVE animals, but I think there are many more extinctions than we generally hear about. I don't think that humans are always responsible either. That's giving people too much credit.

One thing, though, that I am really curious about is what the real meaning of all this 2012 stuff is. And we're not likely to find out until... oh, four more years or so.

The other thing I want to know is why does it always feel like time is speeding up? Is it real? Or just a perception? Are the two related? Maybe we're experiencing time passing more quickly because there are fewer critters to juggle? Like the universe is a big mainframe, so there are fewer processes running now and less things to have to share slices of the processor?

Curious what you think of this...

    http://starchildglobal.com/infinitycodes2.html

Basically, I saw something a while back that was discussing 9 levels of human consciousness (which seems to go into some of what is discussed in the youtube videos...) and linking that to information about consciousness that were stored in crystal skulls.

The article link above seems to link the crystal skulls back into the whole 2012 discussion.

So true about the animals headed for or already extinct Sometimes I forget about them. They are also Children of the Earth. Our "other" brothers and sisters

The main problem with people is that they attach themselves too much to impermanence.

And that's where all suffering begins.

Yeppers. We go about our lives, stepping on the fallen leaves, breathing in the oxygen the plants breathed out, letting the rain drops fall on our naked heads, nodding to strangers in the street, excusing ourselves as we make our way through the crowds, gasping at a sudden screech of tires....exclaiming over the cold, the heat, the humidity or the lack thereof. And through it all, there we are weaving our individual patterns which will each then be woven into that great cosmic tapestry and not one of us will ever know what the finished product will look like because.....It will never be finished.

    Glorious, isn't it?

Indeed :-) However outside of time it's already finished. The shape anyway, I like to think that free will determines the pattern.

Inside, outside, upside, downside, side to side, besides.....none of that matters. Time Is. And, we are still inside of time....as long as we are alive, anyway. So, thinking of it that way, that the pattern is already finished, can lead to a disconnect from this very real world we live in now. It could lead many people to believe that nothing they do matters, nothing they do will have any affect on the world, because, after all, it's already finished, right? Hmmmmmmm.

Yes, of course freewill determines the pattern. But, everything we do is a result of our freewill. Every breath we take, every move we make......they'll be watching you~~~~~
    .....FU, Sting!

Wait a minute, that's not right. I'm going to try that again. Every breath we take is the result of our decision to remain alive when we could choose otherwise. Now, deciding to breath is mostly an unconscious choice, yes. But, it's still Freewill. We could choose to not breath. We could dive into a pond and decide to not come back up, or we could wrap a noose around our necks or we could step out in front of a rampaging semi truck....or any of a multitude of methods we have for holding our breath.... for the long haul. And, everytime we choose to not do that, to continue on as we are now....to breath, damn it.....that choice is the product of our Freewill.

Just as stepping out our door is a product of our Free Will, as well. Scratching my back, opening this window, letting my head slip to one side, flexing a muscle in my thigh, licking my lips, listening to the neighbor's dog barking in the distance.....I do all of this according to my Free Will.

And, every one of those miniscule acts may just be some background threads in the tapestry but, without them, without the background, the colorful scene couldn't exist. Huh?

Yes but did you know the clock we commonly use today was first introduced to the masses through the church, which is why we have clock towers and bells resounding on the hour. The clock enslaved humanity to time. Think about how you look at the clock everyday of your life. This clock we look at everyday is not based upon the natural time. Thats why in farming states we don't have daylight savings.Farmers wake up at the butt crack of dawn no matter what. Office workers get up depending on when the office is open and many other buisnesses depend on those workers for buisness. The time system we use now is based upon humanity but it also disregards our connection to the earth and the cosmos. This is why the Mayan time system is so acurate it is based upon the 260 day human gestation period and the rotation of the planets and everything in between.I believe very soon time will become very differnt for humans perhaps mor fluid and natural and whan this happens it will signify an evolution in perception, if not a full on dimensional shift. Think about it we exist in the fourth dimension now and we experience the first three as more flexible but the one we exist in, time, is rigid. I know for a fact that the secret of time travel is no longer a secret. The plans to build a time machine are drawn, The money to build it is being collected and we are on the verge, I predict within 3 yrs., of seeing exactly what time can become. The time machine that will be built is only for sub atomic particles but as soon as it is turned on,I bet, reality will go from singularity to multiplicity because time will be looped infinitely from that point on. The more machines that get turned on the more loops. The guy who invented this is Ronald Mallet he may be the Einstein of the new reality. Here's a link:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oRWwI61so5Q

{{d*@*b}}, I have always wondered what would really happen if someone made a "time machine". Wouldn't it really disrupt a lot of things? I mean, you could go back in time and change things. Someone would probably go back and kill Hitler before he rose to power. As much as I dislike Hitlers mark on the world, it was probably something that needed to happen. During that time we came a long way with our technology, both good, and bad.

You're a time machine if you want to be.

    To D@B,

Personally, I believe that the only thing that may signify an evolutionary change in human perceptions is for more humans to choose to change their perceptions of the world around them. Get back to basics, as it were.

A long, long time ago, when I was in High School, in 1973 to be exact, I went to a picnik for the drama club. I was tired and sitting at a picnik table when another girl walked up and asked what time it was. Well, I didn't wear a watch, so I raised my eyes skyward for a few seconds, then told her it was about 4:30. A few minutes later, another student walked up to the table and he was wearing a watch....so she asked him what time it was. He said it was 4:35.
The girl who was asking then looked at me and went, "How did you do that?" I just looked at her and grinned. Then I glanced down at the end of the table where our teacher sat trying to hide a grin, so I winked at him. I was enjoying it too much at the time to come right out and tell her how to tell time by the sun. I mean, she was going around to everybody and telling them what I had done....and, I was enjoying that a lot. But, later on my teacher told me that he'd had to tell her but, he whispered in my ear that he didn't think she understood a word he had said. Hahahahahahahaha

I've always had a special relationship with those who only respond to the call of the wild concrete. They amuse me.

Now, as for the Mayans.....I think they had a special relationship with an entirely different kind of people but, I wouldn't swear to it in a court of law.

Time is what we make of it. That's all that really matters.

The human realm is the way it is for a reason.

Trying to change it is out of the question.

It is one of the six realms of suffering, cyclic, impermanent,

    Illusory and deceptive.

    my vision was clear :
someday "the time cycle will get reversed" , yet it is "Shifting"
and it has no regular leaps .
