I think a lot of the time the human brain fills in the gaps in things like film dialog's with what it expects to hear so even though we do actually hear it we don't really pay attention to it hence when something makes us actually pay attention it seems like its the first time we have heard it and can even make it seem like its different to what we imagine we first heard, as for buildings poping up out of nowhere you would need to be really distracted or stressed and thinking about other things not to notice, that said i have made entire journeys and can't remember them and I was driving.

I often see my room change, the dresser replaced by a different one; the items on my bookshelf rearrange and different items; things 'traveling' through but fainter, like an over lay. I call it 'taking the tour'. I see other places as well, beings from other realities and synthetic realities resolving. I have a device I call the spinning wheel that can be utilized to initiate a transition to another reality or tour. It is like a panoramic view that wheels around showing different locations in alternate times and those current with our Now. No one bothers me when I am on the tour or using the spinning wheel, these beings are like the reptilians - aware of the shifts and not freaked out. I recognize most of them from 'the game' and we have interacted prior to my physical life. They are all players or gamers of some renown. There are so really aggressive little beings that I call 'scrim' that tend to congregate in my room so thick that the air gets hard to breathe. They're only about as big as a circle of about half an inch diameter. I don't know what they are trying to accomplish, other than irritating me. They are easily wiped out but they leave a residual sort of dust and they tend to throw stuff at my eyes, which interferes with my contact lenses. They refuse to leave when I ask nicely and it got so bad at one point, I couldn't see the floor or the bottom of my legs because there were so thick along the floor. I finally told them to implode and keep imploding forever and they did. That pretty much solved the problem.

In my hands I hold a candle whose flame is small to see,
And if I give but one light to you my life is filled for me.
But...In your hands you hold a torch for many eyes to see,
So hold it high that they may light their candlewicks from thee... موم γλυφή !
