This is just too creepy. Straight out of Minority Report, with the facedeals facebook app, you can give participating stores permission to passively scan your face, identify you and your likes, and then send customized deals to your smart phone.
Please someone tell me that this is a hoax.

I doubt that the facedeals thing is going to ever gain popularity. Most people including shop owners are going to see it for what it is, a violation of privacy.
This ad goes away when you register.
