Has anyone been feeling guided to move into the country and live a more natural and simple life? I feel like I'm being guided to simplify my life and let go of things and circumstances I don't need to get ready for more natural living. I don't expect to move to the country in the next few weeks, but I feel like it's a gradual path. I'm thinking it's part of my Ascension path, but I'm not completely sure.

Moved to the mountains not too long ago to become grounded and full of Gaia's energy ....lest not to forget the 1st and 2nd dimensions...sometimes we're so concerned with acending to the 5th we forget the balance needed for Gaia.
I can only take living in the big city for a max. of about 8 months.
Then I´m out.
Of course I don´t have a lot of material wealth but I´ve managed to keep my wits intact.
Or so I thinK?
leaving the big city even for a day is always good for the soul.

I had the urge for a while, so I moved. So much more relaxing out here. I'm not surrounded by thousands of hurried worried people. The work is at a much slower pace, people are more concerned about the simple things in life instead of what job you have and what car you drive. The people see on the street are friends instead of complete strangers. Yeah, it is nice.
Someday people will realize that big cities are a cancer upon the planet. They poison the air, ground and water. And don't get me started about the psychic atmosphere.

Yes, I think I can relate to what you're describing, Adalis. What region of the country are you thinking of moving to? I know of some very special places in the Northwest that you might enjoy; PM me if you want to talk more about it.

At times like this I love living in the Midwest. We don't have to worry about earthquakes or hurricanes. There's a tornado every now and then, but I'm in Northwest Illinois so it rarely comes by me.
I get bored too easily to live in the country. I like the city because it's the "urban jungle". Will Eisner said that people moved out of the jungle and recreated it in our cities.
It's suburbs I do not understand. I have lived in one all my life, and it still strikes me odd how so many stores are close to each other but you need a car to get anywhere.

To be honest, I am not yet sure.
I also have the urge to live through a 3d life in the countryside, just like you described. However, sometimes I think that it would be a greater spiritual challenge to live inside the city AND enjoy only the nessecary things.
I am afraid to rush to a decision because I wanna make sure that the choice of staying here or moving into the countryside will be based on love, and not fear. For example, I am not sure if a possible choice of mine of going away might be an escapist action. Maybe the best choice for *myself* would be staying in the city and trying to spread light and love.
I am not sure. I think that during this important year (2008) I will make a choice.

I'm reluctant to share pictures or information about Montana because I don't want people migrating up here and making it into a hellhole like Southern California. But, see if this does it for you...

(I used to live very close to this mountain range, and the view I got from my living room window was similar to that shown in the picture above.... except that it was even better.)
These pictures are just a small sample of what you will find here.![]()

It's even better in real life... and you should see the stars at night! They don't call Montana the "Big Sky" state for nothing.
And that's all the advertising I'm going to do. I'd prefer people think of Montana as a desolate wasteland inhabited by gunslinging rednecks, lest this state become overcrowded like Ca :-\

UntoldGlory...WOW! I mean, WOW!!! I think you live in a beautiful place, but your pics make me want to go out and get some pics to show you of the Ozarks. It's gorgeous here in a different way.
My best GF's husband often talks about moving their family to Montana, and she always laughs and says that if it weren't for her and the kids, he'd move off and be a mountain man.
I would so love to move out of town, but it looks like it's not meant to be any time soon.
