Fellow Students, Honored Moderators, Teachers and Mentors;
I am presented with the task of this Valedictory address for the simple reason that no one else will do it. I will try to make it brief because I know that some of you will have to go to the restroom soon and your attentions spans will last no longer than the immediacy of that event.
Many of us have already left. Others are leaving. No, this is not a fire drill. Please stay in your seats until dismissed.
The years 2007 - 2008 were wonderful for most of us. A spontaneous exchange of creativity and ideas. New students are moving in now and as always,, they bring the old values with them. Comfort. television, distraction, obey the law rather than change the law... money.. oh yes, the Great Comforter, Money and all the wisdom and understanding that these credentialized values come attached to.
It is - mostly because of the creativity and interchange of free thinking and ideas during this year - it is now fashionable to be "Indigo". It has become something of a fad, you see. A similar phenomenon happened in the Hippie movement, beginning in 1967. Perhaps there is something numerically significant about the number "7".
At any rate there is occluded Truth being presented, deceit posing as Love and echos of the Love catchphrase being repeated ad nauseum and with no sincerity, throughout many of the postings. Love was very marketable from 1968 onwards. You could even buy it on wallpaper.
The Legendary hearts and minds of the Class od 2008 are moving on now it seems.. to other missions, endeavors and bandwidths of light other than Indigo in many cases. They leave behind their posts in the archives here
As you walk these hallowed halls and when you finally get around to reading some of the inspired posts left in the archives {see page 1 on any thread} you may find yourself wishing you had been a part of what has happened here.
Please consider the courage demonstrated by your predecessors, the Mentors of those who went before you in this evolving curriculumn. As you choose to Mentor and teach those coming to you [or not] ask them this one question;
"How dare you bore me?"

I’m just popping in today to remind people that there is a refugee camp set up for those who are fleeing WhiteEagle Society. There are many of us there already. I see that more people are leaving IS. Just PM RavenMother and she’ll give you the link.
You can PM me too...I'll be popping in and out this week. Now that DF and Steph are looking into things...I'm feeling a bit more hopeful that things will get better.

i can't really understand this thread =) it means that some of the older/more experimented , will leave this board or the indigo thing and move along to another path ? well i mean why now, why classifing this is there a particular raison ? from what i understand its because the shadow of the purpose has taken over from the purpose or something like that ?

This thread was started in May, after a self-selecting group of longtime posters left IS because of the White Eagles debacle. They continued to talk privately and created their own member-only blog as a safe-haven for themselves.
Recently this group offered councilling/mentoring/advice services in a poorly named thread (Elder Council of Indigo Island) and this has started a whole new debate about if there should be such a thing on IS.
After this debate had been going on for a week Lavella resurrected the thread to signify her following in the footsteps of fellow members of the private group, and bow out of IS herself.

I am sorry to see a lot of the experienced people leave IS because of this bloody council thing happening.
I dont like it when people I have come to respect leave, it makes me miserable. Ah well to all the people leaving, I wish you the best in your new world and this new path you have chosen.
People constantly come and go out of your life, it is something that we all have to get used to.

I swear I will go down with this ship. I'm not leaving. This is my cyber home and I'm not going to let it go down so easily.
The fighting will stop it always does and then sometime it will start again but that doesn't nullify all the good things that are spoken of here and all the good relationships that have begun and grown here.

the very first indigos on this planet live near here
and i am a part of the alum , the original planners of creation...
plus i am about as old as creation.
even if my body is 23 earth years old.
