Sandalwood
Nag Champa
Myrrh
White Sage
Cedar
Hi everyone - I love my incense, just wondering what the favorites were out there ?
me personally I like the opium, frankincense, chandan and myrrh. There are more that I like but they are my favorites. I usually have 5 or 6 different ones which I burn depending on my mood.

mmm yes White sage is divine, hard to get cheaply here, also love the Nag Champa and the Sandlewood. I used to have Bergamot in the bath hehe. And the Orange actually - they are very nice oils.

My favorite incense is this stuff called Song of India Temple Incense...absolutely lovely. Not entirely sure what herbs are used in the blend, but it appears to be sandlewood based. Probably Nag Champa in there too.

Mmmm... Maybe we should smudge the site? LOL
I need to find my book on making incense again.
As for "store bought," Nag Champa and Chandan are easy enough to come by. Dragon's Blood can be nice. Sandalwood is good for meditation and energy work -- nice and uplifting.
I've got some charcoal resin sticks that are nice, although some days they tend to smoke more than other incense. At home I've got this tub full of different kinds of incense from all the Tibetan fairs and such out here.
Nobody has mentioned my favourite, though. I like Jasmine.
I Wanna Be Special. Just like Everybody Else!
I have a few that I vary through depending on mood...
I was wanting to ask... any suggestions on clearing insences?.. I have a whole world to cleanse and clear of a lot of stale, old , heavy energy...
Any 'Fung Shei'-ers out there... I'm working with placement, windchimes, crystals and rocks.. need to redesign and change the layout and flow of this space. Any good insights on 'moving on" in an old space...
I so value the space around us and where we plant ourselves.....
Thanks,
time to clean and clear....

Sage and cedar at the two clearing incenses that come to mind right away...Frankincence & Myrhh are supposed to be good for that too. I have a nice smudge blend that I like to use. Near as I can tell it's a blend of various herbs, most likely white sage, lavender and maybe some mints in there too. I don't care for burning it but I do add a pinch or two to my oil diffuser and let the scent spread that way. ^__^

Hm hadn't thought about that, good idea with the diffuser. I usually only use my sage in ceremonial type use, I just find it is to sacred for me to burn every day. Many people do and that's fine, just personal preference.
But I will try the cedar looking forward to it.
