I just need some answers I am a mother of 2 boys and a 10 month old little girl..I have always known that I am a little diffrent..I know things are going to happen before they happen I can know about a person I have never met before..My problem is I dont trust my instincts..anyways my question is my daughter my baby has this amazing energy..what does this mean..My 10 month old daughter and I talk to each other without using words..I always no what she wants my husband says how do you no that i say she tells me..I know what she is thinking..she is so special..I also think she sees things that we dont..she seems to be looking at things and smiling...does Anyone know what I am talking about..This is the first time I have evan talked about this am I crazy?? There is soo much more I just dont know how to put it in to words..can someone tell me what I am talking about..LOL

HI Drewconjor---You sound pretty normal to me. We all have our special talents and instincts. Trust your instincts--your gut feelings. I don't think they will steer you wrong. Here's an example:

Recently I was on a twisty road that allowed passing. The guy in front of me was going slow. I considered speeding up and passing him. Something made me feel that passing then wouldn't be good even though I saw no cars coming the other way. I didn't pass and traveling for another minute or more, there was a car pulling out of a driveway. I would have hit them if I had passed the car in front of me when I was thinking about doing it.

I think you and your little girl have a very strong psychic bond. That is wonderful! They say little ones and young children can often see phenomena most of us don't. The kids are open to it because they don't know society mostly frowns on abilities like that. We adults have been told ghosts don't exist, psychic phenomena is not real, etc. I think it's great--something you and she can share.

When I was in my twenties, I experienced some things that scared me silly. I shut down that part of myself. Now, I'm trying to open up again because I understand more about it and also have support from friends.

i'm sure this is obvious to a parent..

remember NOT to prepare your child for the world they are living in, instead for the world they WILL be living in.

with the indigo generation, your daughter will grow in a society more accepting of 'unclassified abilities and perceptions'

worrying her about society's reaction (not to say carol was implying this, i don't think you were.. i'm thorough..) will only attach her to a world which will be in her past 8)

You are right I was not saying to worry about society's reaction. But, I think it would be a disservice to the little one to not make her aware of some of the reactions that will occur. I don't think society will be evolved enough by the time the baby is in school. Mom needs to explain how everyone is different with different abilities and some people will make fun and tease because they are afraid and don't understand.

I think Mom and the little one have a wonderful bond. With Mom's and hopefully Dad's support too. All will be well.

Only drewconjor knows how her husband would take this info. If drewconjor , you know your hubby will be open--share it with him. If he's not open to it yet, show him little by little examples of the things we don't usually see and feel.

I just wanted to say thanks to Carol..Another thing that always happens to me is I will say to the kids your Dads home and he pulls in the drive way 5 sec later...I always no when someone is about to pull into my driveway...Is there somewhere I can go to practice developing my gift...

I know there's loads of books available on developing your psychic ability. Plus, if you know of any "new age" or "metaphysical' book shops around you, a lot of times they offer classes. Check their websites or give them a call and ask.

Also, you can ask the universe for help on developing your special talent. You should shield yourself when putting requests out there. One way is picturing a bright, white light of protection surrounding you and yours to let only good in when you ask for help.

Hope this helps plus I know more people here will probably have further info too. That's why I really love the IS site. It is such a great opportunity to learn from one another.
