    yawn boring

This ad goes away when you register.
i'm copying this post from the 'indigo first wavers traits' thread here.

i apologise for being so self-aggrandising.. i'm not an evangelist, i'm a logician. (aquarian with virgo ascendant).

    repeating post:
    ----------------------------

i was raised by a multinational intelligence agent.

he was raised by native americans.

he looked at the world, and realised what was wrong and raised me to address the situation.

my thesis is that the memetics used to produce human culture's destructive results can be easily redacted by a simple method - randomisation.

using a memetic parallel to genetics, our meme pool is INBRED. luckily, we can infuse new memetic material into our meme pool by using randomisation, to produce semantic conjuncts using the entire set of semantic objects.

it's that simple - heal the world with randomised media.

another way of saying this.. people have so many words.. and rules for how to put them together, so that certain words connect to certain other words. through randomisation, new connections between familiar forms are presented.

people who experience randomised media have the opportunity to (a) identify more readily their own action and method of perception, and (b) to connect more readily with the confluent, synchronous universe.

most people don't have the experience with randomisation, let alone memetics, to understand the benefit of this, so it sounds like bullcrap. "how can randomising things do anything?"

william s. burroughs said "when you cut into the present, the future leaks through." mystics have used the stochastic method to expand their mind since there were mystics.

all that is necessary is a palatable medium - something that 'normal people' find acceptable enough to pay attention to.

an algorithmic television show (eg. one where the plots and events are procedurally generated) would take a lot of work, and be difficult to distribute. algorithmic music is the first option.

by experiencing algorithmic media, people start to identify parts of the algorithm.. "okay.. there's a 2nc chorus after the 3rd verse 60% of the time.."

they analyze the algorithm. they apprehend the pattern, not the instance.

people don't understand. it would be very easy to develop a cultural superweapon, that would advance the evolution of human culture catalytically. so profoundly.

once people PERCEIVE semantic form, they are able to apprehend and manipulate it, and are less susceptible to the methods of entrainment present in current media/memetics.

it could fix your whole planet if people would understand this simple thing.

if you work a bit on computer, you must know that real randomness is something hard to get

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Information_entropy

the best source of it today is about energy level in atoms or radiation

    exactly

    like burroughs said..

he noticed that his cut-ups started to refer to future events, eg. he would cut words out of a newspaper, and perhaps years later the phrase would have some very clear meaning.

it's a shift in consciousness to a broader scale of form.

and, perhaps.. that broader scale of perception potentiates greater awareness... perhaps one day your randomised singer starts making perfect sense..

but something really strange popup recently that those energy levels in heavy atoms are somewhat statically related to prime number

isnt that what happens when people zap around on their remotes, not really looking for anything, just tapping along to their own discontent algorithm?

probability of ordinary man stepping into conscious meta realm by himself would be small. maybe with a litlle (TVhack) crashcourse

is this randomization, sort of like the badly edited/random collages seen on youtube, or artsy ones like this ?

that vega beat is so nice
