First attempt at poems

Hey

Ive never even attempted poetry before this, but it was 3am, i was wide awake, and just felt like opening up notepad and seeing what i felt like writing. They are all very short poems, only a few lines, but meh *shrugs*

So just see what you think, comments appreciated .

1.

Falling, just falling
Through this abyss we call
a life, a dream, a soul
Knowing its all to come
Waiting, just waiting
Clinging to the hope of
a better day to come
Fading, just fading
As the hope drifts away
And the darkness comes
Once, again.


2.


Hopes, dreams, fears
Need to be shared
yet they cannot
what can we do but
hope, dream, and fear.

Once a new day arises
The darkness fades away
Sun breaks through what once
seemed like an eternity
A new hope
For hope is all we have
in this world of light and dark.


4.


Destiny, not knowing what is to come
That is the joy of life
That is the curse of life
Loving, Hating, Fighting
We all are the same, we all are different
Yet we can never truly know
The depths of what we hold inside.

5.


Searching for, that one thing
to keep what is dark away
Praying for, that one person
who can hope, care
and most of all, love.
