To me i see choice and free will as just illusions. I see this life and even our mind and conciousnesness as an inevitable construct all sort of 'pre-written'. What i mean to say is that every choice we make is just predetermined by our past and there is no 'random fuzzy peice of bulshit' in this life it is all just action and reaction and everything we do is just decided by our past... Ok, now here i go. This idea sort of disproves all religion and things with judgemental god and how we act and behave in this life determines how we spend all our afterlife... It also sort of eliminates the whole spiritual idea because it would prove we are just peices of matter that are bound by this world of space/time and unless our imaginary 'higher selves' or 'god' thought it would be fun to put us on this abstract weird as fuck rollercoaster, then i dar say we all just delusional fuck heads and the human mind is like shit flavourd fairy floss...m Lol, but seriously ignore the last paragraph if u want but give the top one a good think over...

I havent read in depth of synchronicity, just know it believes that mind, matter, past, present and future exist in a potentially meaningful continuum.....

You're driving down the road, your tire explodes, you're late an hour for everything that day, you arrive at your gym one hour later than usual, you meet someone you normally would never see, you guys go out and hit it off. i've been coming to similar conclusions lately. Causality.

From my perspective, I don't see why you can't be spiritual and believe all our actions are predetermined at the same time. I had a very interesting experience recently where for a brief time I could sense that I had no control over my physical actions, and that everything was just happening, all my movements. But I was consciously aware as the observer(of my body)**. So perhaps the physical world is predetermined, but how you perceive the that world is your free will. And maybe how you perceive it determines what you learn.

**this could be backed up if you believe that time is not what we think it is. as in it doesn't actually move forward, that is just how we perceive it right now. so when we think we are choosing to pick our nose, we actually just subconsciously know that it is about to happen. and thinking we have choice in that matter makes us comfortable.
