I like to do a lot of different things, but not for long periods of time. I just simply get bored of something after I get to know it well. So I wanted to see what you guys/girls like to do for fun. =). The thing that can keep my attention the best is partying (woot woot), and programming. So let me know what you enjoy doing, or just anything that is amazing/amusing that you once did, because i might wanna try it =).

"where attention goes, energy flows"
i started with qBASIC, then pascal + x86 assember, then C, now i'm doing C++,PHP,SQL,PERL,javascript etc ... i worked a lot with graphics , multimedia , opengl etc
Nice...
I just started programming last year using good ol' qbasic =). Now I am Learning C++ but only know the structure of the program and basic input/output, yah know the basics... What i want to do is take a class this summer to perfect C++. it is absolutly intertaining though

While working, i like to listen to conspiracy or new agey archived lectures/interviews. My favourite conspiracy people are zeph daniel, the collins brothers, and joel skousen. Fave new agey types: david wilcock, lisa renee, and daniel pinchbeck. Definitely makes the day go by faster.
I also program. I'm a freelancer and work primarily in the LAMP (php) stack. As a result i'm also ok in html, css and javascript/ajax. I prefer using mvc frameworks with kohana being my current fave.
I'll check out some of those lecturviews.
thanks dude

Hey what is it about programming that you like? Did you go to school to learn it, or did you get into it on your own? Is it very difficult to pick up if you've never done it before? The reason I'm asking is cause I'm searching for what I want to study, and programming has been considered. Thanks I'd appreciate the info.

well i always messed up totally with school and learned a lot from demoscene/hacking scene, and by practicing a lot
The thing i like about programming is being able to make the computer do exactly what I want it to do, the possibilities are endless. The only computer classes I have taken are keyboarding and a class that teaches you how to use a program called excell and also powerpoint, that was a pretty simple class that was pretty pointless for me, but its a good place to start for anyone just to get to know programs and computers a bit. I'm only a sophmore in high school so ill be taking more programming clases in my future.
I went into programming on my own and it wasn't extremely hard, i just downloaded qbasic and found a tutorial online of the very basics of a "hello world" program and then learned everything off of that idea... then i went into C++ which is 10X harder so im taking it slow. If you need any sites for tutorials or safe downloads just ask.
