A poem/song I just wrote for someone Iv'e known for years.

This song is for you

I see you peeping through those clouds,
that life has thrown around,
at all that is new, all that is true,
all that is possible, all that is you.

I see you trying to heal the pain that is within you,
moments of being to yourself, so true,
it doesn’t matter that some never knew,
the wonder, the beauty, the love, that is you!
I believe in you!

Magical, crystal clear, knowing who you really are,
the good times of the one days are not so very far -
away.
Gratitude, and love, for the parts of life you have today,
the sun is shining, and I can see so much good in you,
fear not the times when you’re feeling down and blue,
the healing light within and around, will always be there,
for you if you often take the time in the moments, and the care,
to look for them, as I see you sometimes do,
your life will be full of love and magic, and lessons learned,
you are strong and your heart will be fully opened,
to all that is good and new.

I always knew that you have so much to give,
realise your potential and sieve,
out all of the things that you do not want,
all the things in the past that haunt,
it’s time to let go of the things that no longer serve,
you, believe that you can manifest all that you deserve.

Never stop being who you really are,
you are beautiful and I know you are!
no need to be perfect, it’s impossible, and no one is,
go and live your life fully and find your true bliss!

it's not a criticism of you... in the 90's 'gangsta rap' ~eclipsed 'conscientious rap' in the commercial market.

tho tbh the late 80s early 90's had more conscientiousness in all the commercial genres.. consumers were buying it.. then 'generation x' completely disappeared
