(i have massive respect for eric.. though i have a feeling that this project is consigned to history... these tracks aren't online)

one of the best pop songs of all time.. i love the innocence and purity captured in this piece.. it's perfect for getting over relationships (the whole project is)

i found a better text on complex numbers..

the one that confused me had some ridiculous way of explaining magnitude, as the number of times something could be squared.. before something.. or something.. so i had this ridiculously complex code to solve for it...

the author either wanted to kill me, or liked to speak the vernacular.. it's just the 3rd side of a right angle?!

sheesh. there's stuff i could have written a year ago

if you ever run out of stuff to do, make youtube movies of math for indys

complex number can be seen in various ways, in fact i found them very interesting because they mix lots of part of the math , to me it can be seen as a link between trigonometry and linear algebra, studies of vectors and matrix, and with the real so called complex numbers like the 'i' sqrt(-1), and with the euler formula you can even deal with exponentials and powers =) they really mix lots of aspects in math and are used in various domains (plane transformation/linear algebra(you can use as a matrix to 'write' a rotation), and it make the link with trigonemtry aka sin/cos to study the waves etc , they can be wrote in three different way, the vectorial way as x = a+i*b, where a is real part and b the imaginary part, with the trigo form , as x = magnitude*(cos (argument)+i*sin(argument)), and as the exponential form as : magnitude * e^(i*argument), where argument is an angle in the trigonemtric form.
