Another astrology inconsistency...

Just been reading MiamiSound's 'inconsistency in astrology' thread and want to ask a similar type of question....

If astrology was devised in ancient times; and the planets Uranus, Neptune and Pluto (and their moons) weren't discovered until the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries respectively; then how can these three planets have any astrological influence on our daily lives? Who suddenly decided what their influences should be when they were discovered? And how?

And I guess the same might apply with the larger comets... how do comets have an astrological meaning/influence on our lives when they may only have been discovered in modern times?

Hi Zen Zen...how have you been? I dont know the answer to your question, but I think the more we evolve the more we learn. It was there all along, just wasnt noticed. I think the whole universe has order, but I dont know the secrets.

The planets you mentioned have no affect on a person in their "daily lives" as you said. These planets' influences can only be felt over months and years. Pluto has often been called the "Planet of the Ages" because it has more influence over an "Age" than over anything else.

That's one explanation.

The ancients were wiser than us in many ways. They knew of the existence of these planets. Ancient documents spoke of a 10th planet intersecting our solar system, and it was only until the 21st century that we have rediscovered it.

Time doesn't flow in a line (which would mean that we are the greatest Earth society ever), it flows in a cycle. In the past, there were greater civilizations than ours, and in the future our civilization will collapse so another can take our place. Even the Greeks and Egyptians figured this out long before I imagine modern science will.
