Id get some blood red paint and paint the 7 deadly sins all over ur walls I think that'd be tight
I need help on deciding what to paint my bedroom walls. I just got given to me a 100yr old bedroom set, its really nice and I have nice accessories to go with it, but the color is like a brownish/light green...I dont really want to paint the furniture. I found a really nice green and pink floral bedding set, but I am not sure what I want to paint the walls. Does anyone have any ideas, the bedroom set is kind of a light green with brownish tint. Should I go lighter or darker for the walls and do you think a tan color with an ascent wall would be nice, or a darker green wall, or other color? I need help!![]()

I think you should go with the pinks. It is really hard to match green but an opposing color should accentuate what is there already. I used Glidden pink called "Salt Marsh Pink" on my daughters' room and got raves from men and women. It is pink that is definitely there but not in an overwhelming or screaming way. It is just very pleasing and refreshing. One of the best picks I ever made.
you got raves from men on pink?
doilies. make it fancy
I pulled up some ideas off the internet and pink was one of the ones that kept coming up frequently, I want to do an acent wall, so I wasnt for sure if I should use the pink for that, since my carpet is burbon...there's several hues of pink in my bedspread also. My own bathroom is connected to my bedroom so Im wondering if I should do that in the same color as my bedroom or pick another color?

LOL yeppas doiles man, scrape the popcorn from the ceiling too and put up the cosmos
Yes - the men liked the pink. And my ex always looked better in pink than I did - but that's a much longer discussion...
I would do an accent wall in your favorite green - maybe a darker hue and I would keep the same hues of pink and green in the bath but just change the saturation. Maybe a light green version of the accent wall.
he left you for a guy please say he didnt
Thanks Bluewater, okay so I have another question, since the bedroom furniture is kind of mid light green to light green, should I go with a darker pink or lighter, I can figure out the hue later, but what should I go darker or lighter?

It is hard to say without seeing it. I would think though that you would have contrast to stay opposite hue/same intensity and create the drama with a darker green wall. That's the picture in my mind. Maybe see if the paint store can give you some samples.
& No Hearsekid that outcome would have settled with me quite nicely.
hmm...what's your sun/rising/moon signs? That's usually how I choose a color scheme for a room.
i.e. My bedroom is more firey and earthy in color, satisfy that Sagitarius
rising sign. If I didn't have so much frickn' water in my chart I'd gone
with a Scorpio scheme.
Bathroom's colored up to satisfy the Pisces moon, etc.
I took that approach in reverse however. I'd already decided
then started researching the topic...made me go hmm?
Just kind of a confirmation me in-tune with myself pretty good.![]()
The following site is awesome and might be helpul in making choices?

so you match
fire sign - hot colors?
not complementarity...
fire sign - cool color
Nah, not 'hot' colors 'firey!'![]()
i.e. sea green is a soothing color for a Pisces, but lavendar is nice too.
Where a Sagitarian leans toward a more royal purple, etc. But for the larger environment generally finds earth tones more pleasing. I'm a cusper and find myself more Sagitarian vs. Scorpio although elements are there.
Hi Soulsearcher
If you could find the colors; the green, the color of your carpet, the color of the wood...I would love to helpalso if there are floral designs involved, it would be good for me to see the patterns as well..if you do not mind. Id you could take pictures of the furniture or even the room it would be even better, but I can deal with the colors and patterns alone.

soul searcher do you like those really huge bean bags>? id put one of those in there
I would go for light colors that have just a hint of color. Pastels. Blue or Green. Colors that relax you would be great for the bedroom.
