I recently became very familiar with channeling. I was led to a web site by a gifted friend. It was Abraham-Hicks. What I saw on there was to me quite fascinating. There was a woman on there, who goes by the name Esther, channeling what she said is a group spirit called Abraham. They have several videos on their site and I watched them all in a kind of quiet excitement. It fascinates me when people appear to have odd abilities and this was certainly odd. As strange as it seemed, she seemed quite natural, the process quite natural and the words that came forth who could deny. I ordered 3 audio series, The Law of Attraction, Ask and it Shall Be Given part I and part 2. I also ordered the book Law of Attraction, The basic teachings of Abraham. How could I not.

I also found myself watching some channeling videos by another strange lady, she was channeling a spirit called Seth. I'm sure most of you are familiar with these ladies and these so called spirits they are channeling. But I was quite ignorant. It is only as of lately that I began looking into this channeling as a great source of wisdom, an honest one where truth could be heard. I opened myself for such a possibility because I too am an adventurous spirit. You all fascinate me!

Well one night I decided to meditate on this. I lay on my couch, a candle burning and me at peace. I cleared my mind. I asked if there were any ascended masters that would like to speak to me. I offered up this opportunity in honesty. As I lay on my couch with nothing but the candle burning to illuminate this dark room I heard a voice in my head that said HELLO! Of course this came out of nowhere at a time when my mind was ablank. I figured quite quickly I was playing a little trick on myself but played along anyhooo. I said HELLO back. So there I lay talking to myself what seemed like a normal conversation you would have if you just met somebody out of some prearranged designated blue? There were no profound words of wisdom being passed along, no fanfare of any-kind. Just me what seemed to be me talking to me.

The conversation went along rapidly and I decided to ask me a question. I said to me do you have a name? The answer came back quite rapidly, Yes my name is EL Morya. I thought that was a very strange name for me to make up. I thought I was going to answer my question with Seth or Abraham because this is all I'm familiar with. This was not me answering so I found. I repeated EL Morya and he said Yes, then I asked him to spell it and this was the name I got. EL MORYA. I thought again that this was a fascinating name for me to make up, but I continued with my conversation. At the time I wasn't taking much stock in all of this, as this being my first attempt of even considering such a possibility. I rapped up the conversation quickly, finished with my meditation and started to stir about the house again.

I had this name lingering in the back of my noggin. So, I decided after a bit to come up to my computer here and google this new found name of mine. I typed in EL MORYA. HOLY CRAP!
Are you kidding me! WOW! This is somewhat startling and exciting at the same time. I wondered have a seriously tricked myself here, have maybe I heard this name somewhere, was it really out of the blue, could this be real, had I channeled or spoken to such an entity. This was no trick. I shall wonder where we proceed from here. For some reason I'm not overly drawn to this experience which is what I find most fascinating of all. I guess we shall see if me and EL MORYA become friends, maybe we already are. You may come forth!

Wow thats incredible! I tried channeling the other day too, I tried to quiet my mind and think positively, I think I channeled my higher self, but at the same time I thought maybe I was just talking to myself .But the answers didnt seem to be coming from me, they were coming into my head without me even thinking them, and I kept getting goosebumps and felt a great positive energy.

I'm also kind of scared of channeling because I heard you can be contacted by malevolent forces pretending to be good... Anyone heard this?

Tricksters are everywhere of this I have no doubts.
But I live with no fear and have suffered many consequences and probably always will.
I understand your warnings though and appreciate your insight.
The most telling of my experience was that I was not overly drawn to it from deep within so it being just another experiment and experience.

I practice channelling and nothing will harm you if you protect yourself and you are confident that your guides and teachers are protecting you. I find the people who encounter the most trouble are the people that have been fearful and who have been worrying themselves sick about demons and monsters etc. By thinking about them and fearing them you are setting up a connection with negativity and thus inviting to come closer to you. By not even giving negtive vibrations the time of day and invoking love to protect you you will never experience anything harmful.

I first started hearing 'hello' too! It was strange. It was a male voice, loud and booming. I find when something is my thoughts it sounds like my voice, a female voice. I cannot recreate a mans voice in my head at all let alone outside of my head!
Than I started hearing 'chatter' like 5 different conversations going on at once. I knew from my intuition that I had connected onto the mental vibration of the earth and picking up on other peoples thoughts. So i tried again and again, and now I do get information, but as strong impressions more than words.
As a writer, spirit now come best when I am doing 'automatic writing' or 'inspirational writing' depending on which one it is at the time. I know that what I write is from spirit and so I am not afriad to believe it and pass it on.
I am working on my clairaudience though (the ability to 'hear' spiritual information) as, although I am happy with claircognzance (the ability to 'know' information) and my basic intuition, i like the comfort of hearing my guides voice.

Keep going always with the love of your creator and you won't go far wrong!

I've heard this chatter you've experienced, at this point I have constant chatter like this going on though my head the entire time. Unfortunately this chatter gets really loud and crazy if you keep expanding it, I got some odd local attention because of some my gifts, and these thoughts got louder because some of them were about/directed AT me. It can be damaging and painful if your not careful, I have headaches all the time because of this. You probably have multiple guides who are communicating and guiding you all the time, this is what happened to me, gets very very overwhelming after a while.

Quick question, are these thought-sounds that you "hear" or do you actually hear them?

For me, it feels like the voices come from inside of me but outside at the same time. It feels more... whole. I don't really know how to explain it but I haven't physically heard them speak like I would hear my friend talking to me. It feels like it's from inside of you, but there are some voices you can just tell aren't your own.
