If I'm as some[clairvoyants] have said[and most questionnaires have said], an indigo, why is it that I've incarnated numerous times?

Mostly, people believe that Indigos are new souls, never incarnated before.

My question is, can your aura change while you're not on earth? Do you evolve into different colored auras, through time?

Let me know if this should be in a different folder, too. I'm a noob as of yet.

i dont know where you heard that the indigo group was new to incarnation,
this particular group has a pretty good handle on sensing past lives.

Which is why I asked about souls evolution, and possibilty that the souls can change color in aura.

I think that you have a soul color that sometimes gets confused for your aura color
I think soul colors stay constant while aura colors change
I know two years ago my aura was green while now it is violet
however there is a constant silver which is my soul color and the soul color of my soul twin

to see auras I must look deeper I can't just see them so I think that mostly I see soul colors
the aura are like a haze over the soul color sometimes auras shine brighter and sometimes they are hardly visible because you are closer to your soul color

Well what you say makes plenty of sense to me.
When I try to view auras, [my instructions on how were given in a book of shadows] it always appears to be the color opposite of the color of the object. Kind of how... orange = blue, green = red, that kind of thing. So I'm not sure that eyes can really see auras. I think the color thing may just be some eye function that has little to no use. I almost feel you need to see through your third eye, any auras or other phenomenon. Because our physical eyes only see the physical world. I mean sometimes I guess it could elapse with the non physical...but I'm not sure it's something our eyes can see, you know?

Thanks. I don't really feel I'm defending myself, but it is quite awkward. I wish the metaphysical had more proof, and more answers.

My guides don't give me answers I can trust. Or more over, my guides I'm not sure are my guides...I've never seen them or heard their actual voices. So I always doubt what I'm hearing. I hate feeling like I made something up though, and trying to pass it as truth, so that's why I ask.

My problem is that I get my information from numerous books instead of reliable sources. I can't afford seeing my psychic all the time and asking all of these questions. :/ So I wanted to just ask you guys, I figured you may all know something about it.

Because my favorite psychic has told me of past lives, and I truly connect with them, and the connections are present in my life now.

we all sort through misconceptions and many ideas....not everything we are told and see in print is taken to heart,
there are as many ideas as there seems to be indigos
sort through and find what resonates with you,,,and discard the rest.
your answers may change over time.....as you will continue to explore and try to find the common ground,,,,you will accept pr reject much of what you read.....and may challenge yourself to learn more.

Well that's why I love this place so much. It took a long time to find a forum that's actually accepting of majority of my ideas...or at least acknowledges them and doesn't cast them aside.

yeah I remember hearing that back when I first learned about indigos and thought is was a load of crap
well I'm not sure if I believe in past lives... well at least in the way that most people portray them but I do believe that the soul never dies but passes from vessel to vessel (body to body)

I believe in past lives but the concept of past completely changes the concept of time I should say when you don't have a body
I think the soul can move any direction in time and so your soul goes where it is needed whether it be before or after the point you currently lived in
say I live in the 2000 and I die in the 2000 then my soul could go to a life in the 1700s or maybe in the 4500s time just doesn't exist in the same way for souls as it does when they are attached to a body
perhaps we are even animals or plants or just energy for a while
like spirit energy from FFVII hmm interesting thoughts...

i never believed in past lives until i met one of my soul mates and i remembered being someone else and i remembered him being someone else. it was pretty wild . after that i still sort of doubted it and talked myself out of it, it seemed too conveinant. then i met more soul mates and remembered different times and places, until i actually saw two different lives.
i think about things like past lives not neccesarily in linear time lines, like you could live in the future and then come back to the past, and also i think a lot lately about it being possible to be one person in one life and then four in the next. or four in this life and one in the next. i think that seems right to me right now, but perhaps it is not that way.
anyway i have been told that i am ancient, very very old, if i were to guess i would think many of the indigos are very very old souls.

but of course i dont know for sure.
what i do really believe is that different things happen to different beings at different times. so when we try to guess for ourselves or others we can often go wrong cause its not always the same. someone could get a clear idea of how it is for them and then assume thats how it is for everyone. one reason for so many different ideas. all those things are possible. well at least thats what i think...

I think you may be confused Crystals are the new souls we are the old souls....the warrior spirits....the teachers and as far as auras go the color changes based upon the situation but a large portion of you aura is you souls signature it changes as you ascend through lifetimes indigos are highly ascended but not at the highest level. Crystals are what indigos will ascend to because we are going through a new begining not just for the physical but also in the spiritual. Our souls will begin again as clear it will be a sort of meta ascencion for humanity as a spiritual body and in the physical realm.

I have been thinking about this subject allot recently because I read the book Journey of Souls, which there is a new thread up about. I am kind of taking what I learned from the studies in that book and other information that I have gathered,but that book gave me a whole different perspective on the spiritual world.

I have thought a lot about reincarnation and living past lives. I used to not believe in it because it did not apply to me. But, now, I believe that it could be possible for some. I always reserve the right to change my mind. I have no recollection of being here before. I think it is my first time here, that is probably why there are so many seemingly natural things to others that are very foreign to me. I know this will sound strange and more than likely come off the wrong way, but dying always seemed like a happy thing to me, almost like a ticket home. Not that I'm rushing it or anything, I'm just looking forward to it. I don't know who's an old soul or who's a young soul, and I don't think I can answer your question. But, similiar to what others have said, I think it is something you should try and answer on your own. Even provoking those sorts of thoughts can be very enlightening, whether you find an answer or not. If I were you, I would just keep asking myself questions. That's what I'm going to do, anyway.

Oh and supposedly dying is a happy thing depending on how you die. There is one interview in the book where someone had commited suicide in their past life and they explained how stressful it was meeting with their guide after they had comitted suicide. Another woman was stabbed to death in a past life and her soul left the body before she physically died but she spoke about the shock of looking down at her body after it had been mutilated but after the initiak shock she felt very happy to go back to the spirit world.
