I always had a crush on Agent Scully.
Yeah. So. Why isn't there a thread here yet?
I mean, the second movie does come out, oh, uh...tomorrow, and all.
Or have you all just lost interest? *sniffles* I see how it is. *tear escapes one eye and slowly falls* I'll just take my X-Files DVDs and walk away...
Seriously. Who's pumped about XF2?
I always had a crush on Agent Scully.
Remind me, we'll send him a red cap and a speedo - Steve Zissou
And it's supposed to be monster of the week style...
One of my friends commented on the similarity to the first movie (what with large fields of ice and snow in the trailer)--"I wonder if they're not cleverly re-releasing the first movie?"
I think I'm actually getting my friend/employer hooked on it. I know I got my painting teacher's kid addicted on it... My uncle Rex is the one who got me hooked on XF.
Hmmm...so many to choose from. Of course I love "all things." I just showed my friend "Unruhe" because she's a photographer with ties to Germany. It's really hard to pick. "Improbable" is also a favorite, or the "Dreamland" pair.
I just saw the movie. It wasn't bad at all! Perfect blend of creepy and tying up some loose ends (where the hell has Mulder been these past 6 years? what exactly is the relationship between M&S? has anything changed at the bureau? what about william?). It was pretty awesome. Felt just like a season 3/4 kind of episode (minus a few details from the movie).
And I'm pretty sure I saw Chris Carter making a cameo appearance. Sitting in a hallway, far left. Toward the end of the film.
*****SPOILERS*******
Mulder's basically been hiding away in a cabin somewhere that gets snow in the winter. Maybe I missed it when they said where, but it seemed Scully drove a while to see him. They rode off into the sunset but kept out of the sun. She got a career in medicine though. He stayed on the DL at home.
We don't know how William is, just that he's still on Scully's mind after all these years (every child his age she sees reminds her of him, just as every woman Samantha's age that goes missing reminds Mulder of her).
M&S are living together in said cabin. Someone mistakes them for married. Lots of shipper vindication! (the film is PG13 though, so don't get carried away)
*****END SPOILERS*****
I love how you left that up to interpretation.![]()
I saw it yesterday and I loved it, but I'm sad cause its not doing so well at the box office.I guess an X-Files 3 is not likely now. *sobs*

Woot! I'm glad you liked it. And it is sad about the money part. It's unfortunate that Dark Knight and Step Brothers are out right now. I wonder if the "only in theatres" thing is true.
Even if they don't keep making movies, I bet the people behind it and devoted to it would still make something of it. Like maybe Chris Carter would write a book or something and self-publish...who knows.
I'm wondering if FOX might be one giant jerk over the whole thing. So maybe that's why we don't see much more media than we do.
Until then...there's always fanfic.
PS. I just scrolled up and there's an XF ad. Hells yeah! ROFL
HAHAHAH
True. *bows down*
So I'm trying to get my friend into XF. And I don't want to overwhelm her with the conspiracy arc just yet, and I don't want to drag her through first season episodes like Shadows, and have to keep telling her, "Wait till mid season three, then it really picks up!"
So I'm just leafing through the years of episodes and hand picking what I think are the best episodes to hook newbies.
We already watch Unruhe (because she's a photographer with ties to Germany and surgical procedures). I'm thinking Clyde Bruckman's Final Repose and Tithonus should come next. Maybe Eve, Monday, Darkness Falls too.
But, I don't want to start her on all the best episode and leave her with the "chaff" (Trevor?) either.
So, my question is, if you had to make a kind of episode Mix Tape for people you're introducing XF to, where would you start?

Fox the network, I meant.
But I don't know about Imz... *eyes suspiciously*
