It's been over a decade since I'd taken an 'art' appreciation class.

But I'd definately say, that the eyes are a well focused 'focal' point for your work.

I love that sepia colored drawing of the girl.

Is there a particular story behind that? It seems a lot more inspired than the others.

Slippy: Yup, I like drawing the eyes. To me they express a lot.

Halcyon: Thanks! The sephia drawing is a little inspired. At first I wanted to draw Pocahontas similar to the way Disney made her look, then as I was beginning to draw, I started getting this strange feeling(I don't know what to call it.. related to something psychic?) and still used that idea but tried to draw someone else. It was like I was supposed to be "channeling" someone, as if a spirit. -shrugs- the drawing ended up coming out the way it did because of it. I don't get the feeling very often but when I look at the drawing again I feel like I'm looking at someone I know, even though I don't. It's weird.

These are great! Have you experimented with thin colored pencils, watercolor pencils or watercolor for color? I'm just getting into that myself. I noticed you've drawn some elves/fairies...I think you'd like this artist:

Wow thanks Becca! I haven't experimented much with color at all. It's something I'd like to get into though. I enjoyed those sites too, I started drawing another picture just now because one of them got me in the mood to draw lol
