I think he is Emmanuel - "God with us." He came to initiate a conversation between man and God, and to model God's character and nature for all to see.

The essence of divinity" - The Cruxshadows, "Defender."
I think we went down this path before, but as far as I can there is no linguistic connection between "cyrstal" and "christos." Here's what the dictionary says about the word "crystal":
From Old English cristal 'clear ice/mineral', from Old French cristal, from Latin crystallum 'crystal, ice', from Ancient Greek κργσταλλοσ (krystallos) 'ice', from κργοσ (kryos) 'frost'; from the Proto-Indo-European base kru(s)-, meaning hard, hard outer surface.

Is there any hard evidence to suggest a connection between the two words?

I voted prophet, but the meaning the choices could be debated, someone wanna get the ball rolling?![]()
No one man is free until all are free...
I voted prophet, but I personally think that Jesus was a great teacher and leader... and that's what I believe, but I'm still not 100% sure that he was a real person who actually lived. I'm 90% sure, but I have my doubts.

No one man is free until all are free...
That's not exactly true, but there are compelling reasons to believe that Jesus existed as a historical figure. Most secular scholars concede that Jesus of Nazareth existed as a real person.

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I checked 'other' - those categories are too narrow: Jesus to me was a leader, teacher, friend, brother, prophet AND son of God - in the sense that we are ALL sons and daughters of God. He just knew it, and understood how to work with it, thus the healing, loaves and fishes, popping back in from the dead to hang out with his mates for a little more time.
GUS bless you

Jesus was the literal son of God, one of the first born spiritually, as where other of the morning stars, including Satan. God Elohim was not only Jesus spiritual father, but also his physical father. Which gave Jesus the ability to sacrifice his own life, and take upon him the sins of all in the world.
I have to agree, he was the master Indigo if you want to put it like that. Every gift I see in myself, which is Indigo or etc in nature, is part of the Godly nature and characteristics. He was very sensitive and empathic and wanted to bring about change and up lift people. When he went to see Lazarus, he knew he would be alive again, so why did he weep. He wept because he was extremely Morphic empathic, he cried because those he visited were crying and sad.
How else could he take upon the sins of us all, unless he was totally Morphic empathic, with the strength of God, to take the strain, which cause him, even God to bleed from every pore. But human, so he would die, sealing what he did with his own blood.
Many of us who are quite sensitive and empathic, talk about the pain we have from feeling others pains and emotions and such. Does not Christ abilities seem similar. I believe our gifts are Godly powers in their infancy. As literal spiritual children of God, we inherit small portions to develop into to greater things, for greater good, in the service of our fellow man.
Jesus Christ was and is our mediator, and who sacrificed his life so we can come back to God. Christ mends what Adam and Even did in the Garden of Eden, when Adam and Eve were cast out from God presence.
Jesus sacrifice was a necessary ordinance, to allow us to come back into Gods presence, but also to allow us to receive the free gift of resurrection, to get our bodies back. Which was denied to Satan's and those who were cast down with the rebelling spirits in heaven, again Gods plan was to allow everyone agency. Satan's plan was to force everyone to be good and return to Heaven. You can tell from this, who's plan is who's, by the lack of or uplifting of free agency in organizations in the world.
Jesus Christ was a teacher, a prophet, and a elder brother to us all, who came to show and make a way for all us to return home someday.
He is my older brother and friend. And as well, he said, why call me friend, if you do not do the things I say, and if ye love me, keep my commandments.
I guess whether ones sees Christ in this view, depends on whether you view him by raising yourself to his level, or by pulling him down to your level.
I think He was gay.
Or bi.
And that He had... such beautiful eyes.... So... deep... and clean.....and..... so full of... truth.......Wisdom.......
And.... u could see..his love.. in....his eyes........His smile....... A spark.......
... I think he had.. dark eyes.. like... dark brown.. cos supposedly there are no.. black eyes.... But... very jewish eyes...... almost black... But so bright..... and clean and deep.... Beautiful...
Unless you have felt and known him, I would not make that judgment. I would hope you are only trying to be funny ha ha, and not serious.
If you read the scriptures, you can see he had children and a wife. A rabbi had to be a Jew in good standing, and have at least one wife. And it does talk about his brothers and sisters. Here is a simple short data piece on the matter:
